“It is now up to those homeowners to pursue a legal remedy.”
LOL yeah boy, I’m sure thats going to work. I’m sure those people have the millions necessary for a lawsuit. Meanwhile law enforcement continues to violate peoples rights without any fear of consequences.

"I asked about this particular circumstances"
Then clearly you are commenting on the story without view the numerous video link and available showing citizen forced out of their homes at gun point.

We have learned that an entire major city is full of pussies who will hide in the closet rather than sling a rifle or holster a pistol and go about their business...Yeah, I wonder how that would go for the first one to try that.

2. Should not have gone door to door contacting the citizens. You are either delusional or you have a rather loose definition of the word "contacting" Have you seen this? if that's "contacting" then bank robbers contact tellers and the khmer rouge contacted Cambodian intellectuals. I take it you are one of those people who see the police as incapable of doing wrong. As such I'm done wasting time with you.

Those that weren’t killed outright by the police would be in jail for the next few years.

One thing for sure, we’re in big trouble.
But we have learned a few things.
1. The police will follow unconstitutional orders.
2. The terrorists are here and prepared.
3. Our govt knows who the terrorists are.
4. Our govt is ignoring the terrorists and allowing them to conduct their operations unimpeded.
5. Our govt is allowing more terrorists in through immigration.
6. The tactics the police will use against ‘weapons dealers’ once the ban is in place.
We already know the current govt considers people who post on websites like FR to be as or more dangerous then the two Boston bombers.

Dunno. I’ve had threads yanked for no particular reason other than they were critical of polcie actions - one was yanked with the comment “controversial.”

Excellent rant. Spot on. Far from being a "rant", it's God's honest truth!
BTW what ever happened to the Saudi kid with the burns?
Down the memory hole w/ him?
Thought so...

I'm a retired police officer, and I approve of this thread.
In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with citizens examining the actions of law enforcement, particularly in such a sensational case as this, and questioning whether their actions were constitutional.
I hope it doesn't get pulled.

The people I salute are those who responded to the bombings by running towards the sites. They didn’t know if there were more bombs or if there were chemical/bio agents at the scene. They just ran towards the smoke and saved lives.

In spite of the massive police presence....the bombing wasn’t *prevented* in any manner, shape or form.
If the LIEberals think for one minute we are *buying* their assault on my God-given rights ..*they* are the ones who need a check-up from the neck up.

We’re hearing calls for more cameras as well. They didn’t prevent anything either.

Let’s hope the massholes learned how they’ll get treated by the government once they’re fully disarmed. But it’s unlikely that a lot of minds in a democrat stronghold like this will ever get changed.

I’m so sick of all the BS.
B4 I left for vaca, I had occasion to call the cops to check out 2 guys with hoodies acting suspiciously in our neighborhood.
Took the cops 45 minutes to get here.
