As much as I’d love to lay this at the feet of Obama, I believe this guy was not deported for a much more mundane reason. Typical lazy bureaucracy. With so many criminal aliens worthy of deportation (and so few countries willing to take them) this guy’s one instance of girlfriend bashing just did not seem to be worth their time.
Which in a nutshell is exactly WHY we are Conservative and want government bureaucrats to be responsible for as little as possible.

If I had my druthers, resident aliens would be deported for anything more serious than a parking ticket. If you can’t stay out of trouble, you’re going home!

One of the Chechen terrorists who carried out the Boston Marathon bombings could have been deported years ago after a criminal arrest and/or conviction and the other was granted American citizenship on the 11th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the 26-year-old killed in a wild shootout with police, was a legal U.S. resident who nevertheless could have been removed from the country after a 2009 domestic violence arrest and conviction, according to a Judicial Watch source. That means the Obama administration missed an opportunity to deport Tsarnaev but evidently didnt feel he represented a big enough threat.
The 19-year-old, who is still on the run, was granted asylum in Arlington Virginia on September 27, 2002...
"I don't argue with fools who say Islam is terrorism it's not worth a thing, let an idiot remain an idiot," he wrote in January 2013.

And they told us they were deporting more people then ever.

Also, the mother could have been deported for shoplifting. I don’t know if she was involved with one of those shoplifting rings = who often resort to violence - or acted by herself.
