How is it that balaclava’s became tacticool fashion? Anybody know? It would seem to be More of a hindrance than protective or helpful in anyway. Was it Hollywood that brought this fad about?
This is a serious question, I don't get it. While I'm at it, the flashlights on the rifle mounting rails doesn't seem like such a good idea either.

WE already know who the enemy really is, it's the liberal dweebs in their ivory towers and government offices that need to have the truth rubbed in their faces.

I found that rather . . . . . interesting ? or somethin' !
Agree with ang re crowds for the next few days too
What am I sayin' .. agree with ang about crowds ~99.5% of the time

I am not a very high tech person, but I am sure the technology exists for them to do something like what you suggested. It makes no sense that so called 24 hour news channels are actually closer to 9-5.

Kidding aside, it's actually pretty kewl, tho a bit too eerily reminiscent of 9.11, in a mirror image sort of way . . .
Nice pics, thanks

It is a Military style show of force. It is getting close to the manpower used for the assault on Fallujah

Thanks, Ron. It's been a shocking time for most of us here. My husband and I have been to the Boston Marathon many times, with never anything but positive experiences. That something like this could happen, with the all of the mutilations and deaths, brings back all of those horrible images and memories of 9/11.
This isn't a big place like New York, Chicago or L.A. At one time I lived in Watertown, and my husband and I both worked in Waltham, which borders Watertown. It took me all of about 5 minutes to drive into Cambridge and and 10 minutes to drive into Boston.

We are seeing the methodology they will be exporting to other states and cities, and sooner than people would even imagine! The massive presence at the Marathon was evidence that the fedzilla had prior knowledge of likely terrorist activity/bombing. That they contineu to deny their heavy presence and deny the video evidence of same tells US they are trying desperately to herd the foolish masses.
