not my work just found the site.
They're not wearing anything which can't be purchased anywhere online by anybody. Probably a better way to fit in, and have gear on without being questioned.
Less obtrusive than wearing a full beard, keffiyeh, and thawb.
You can almost hear the extra layers of tinfoil being applied across the Globe.
The two operators in 5.11 gear... There’s a story there. Just not sure it has anything to do with the bombs.
Him and his “life partner” both shop exclusively from the 5.11 catalog.
Exactly. I find these threads fascinating insight into how some FReepers think or not think. Lots of FBI “expert” conclusions after quickly viewing garden variety photos of a race.
RUSH: Bill Ayers didn't blow up the Boston Marathon, but somebody like him did. Somebody like him did, and that could mean that whoever did this could someday be celebrated in this country if things don't change. Whoever did it could end up being on the faculty at Columbia University.
.
In this day, there will be thousands of images and some video come in from all sources for review.
I am suspicious of the solo white guy with the red shirt and beard who is carrying his backpack.
If this really was a “lone wolf” he would be my TOP suspect.
I’d post the picture but never have figured out how to do that here.
That’s the one I’m going with
I absolutely expect hundreds of people to carry backpacks near the finish line of the world's most famous marathon that contain clothing, food, liquid refreshments, and personal items for friends and relatives who are running in the race. I also expect to see hundreds of other spectators carrying backpacks containing food, water, outerwear, etc., given the fact that many people who travel to central Boston for the marathon, Red Sox game, and other Patriot Day festivities are there for the day and travel by train or have to park a long distance away from the events. As for the guys who seemed focused away from the race, maybe they were ogling a pretty lady in a short skirt (or burka). Nevertheless, even the most benign clues are worth extra scrutiny.
Will be interested to see if a raid does occur this or any friday for a suspect as the notation on one of the pics said.. with an nra booklet and some firearms recovered....
yep ! that’s him !
has lone wolf bomber written all over him!
looks like he just crawled out of his basement to execute the attack.
I don’t understand the “remanant of explosive” picture; there is some kind of white tag on the backpack and on some other guy’s shirt-they are circled along with a white piece circled on the exploded backpack-—but they are 2 different guys.
One is cammo/LEO looking guy and the other is a guy wearing blue jeans- don’t get that link at all.
The creepiest looking guy to me is the one with the blue jacket, red shirt and sliver striped backpack. He looks odd to me for some reason-the way he is holding the packpack is different-but other than that, I got nothing-which is why I don’t do this for a living!
;) Suzy
But only slightly.

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.
Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.
