P.S. It would also work well for voting, and immigration status.

Schumer... I could only get banned for my thoughts on this POS and he is my Senator unfortunately. Too bad his gene pool survived.

Why do we even bother to force these pathological liars to take an oath to support the US Constitution?

It is a waste of time and a source on great aggravation.

When was the last time a politician was removed from office for violating the US Constitution? How many years did they spend in prison? How many have been executed for treason?

Why bother? There appears to be NO functioning entity to remove anyone who violates their oath. It is a joke and a cruel one at that.

The Founders risked life and fortune to insure our rights and we seem too willing or just too damned lazy to insure we retain our “Creator given rights”.

What a bunch of pathetic losers the citizens of the USA have morphed into.

We had the greatest foundation for a government mankind has known. Not perfect, but certainly significantly better than any other country which allowed for a large central government.

I have heard the OK Corral analogy a million times yet it never seems to come to fruition anywhere.

This is the job of the media, which they actively oppose. If the MSM exposed the oathbreakers to the public, they would be gone. Instead, they actively encourage oathbreaking, praising those who do so as having "grown" in office.

We have been under the heel of a mediacracy for decades.

Go here to send a convenient email that automatically goes to your correct Government representative.

Gun Owners of America’s Take-Action Alert Page
http://www.capwiz.com/gunowners/issues/?style=D

Click on the most recent Alert link.
Right now it’s “The Battle Will Take Longer than We’d Hoped.”

This will take you to a page with a pre-written letter. Just put in your personal info and the page will figure out which Senator or Representative to send it to. If you leave ‘Remember Me!’ checked you will only have to fill it in once. Then you can return and send it quickly multiple times a day. Let’s say, every time you read some 2nd Amendment news that you don’t care for.

(I’m going to post this link in multiple threads so many people will see it and, hopefully, put it to use.)

Maybe he will chew his own leg off.

“Once again,” Gottlieb said in press release, “Sen. Schumer cannot tell the difference between reality and his own extremist anti-gun rhetoric.”

Very well said and that is also true for most anti-gun MOrons Democrats.

"... Schumer alleged, “This legislation could change Times Square into the OK Corral.”

If he means "Three outlaws (who were carrying firearms specifically excluded from from prohibition in Senator Feinstein's 'Assault Weapons Ban' bill) were killed by duly-appointed lawmen", then isn't that what Sen. Schumer desires?

What's the problem?

Which is why it will never happen.

Agreed.
It would be nice though if the Republicans put forward a universal background check bill like I have outlined. Make the dirtbag RinoDems vote against it proving they don't care about universal background checks and only want a registry.

This article tries to play a “good cop, bad cop” ploy.

Shumer’s bill is not “bad” and Manchin/Toomey “good”.

BOTH are a violation of the 2d amendment and an abomination in the eyes of liberty.

I would almost give up background checks for 50-state AND DC reciprocity.

I have family in NY and DC and see them frequently. I have 34-state CCW permits, but not those I need the most.

I just got an email from Senator Cruz that said not a single senator has read the gun bill that the Senate voted to proceed on!

Alfonse D’Amato had Schumer pegged from day one. The problem is he shared his opinion with clear language, in public.

Did anyone look at Shumer’s photo in the article? He’s looking like a wizened-up old man. Is he (we should be so lucky) sick? Physically. I mean. Mentally is a given.
