Try setting that up.
Ping us if you don’t get arrested for trying.
Yep, and #2 bird shot plays holy hell on them.
I have wondered what a green or red laser would do to the camera lens taking digital photos?
I wonder myself how big of an open spark generator i can build and focused in an old satellite dish combined with a packet of several hundred chinese green lasers, which can be bought wholesale really cheap.
I recall open spark transmitters play hell upon normal radio frequencies, they are obviously the most crude of transmitters.
My intentions pale against the many that see this concept and they themselves endeavor to build it themselves.
Might be a workable idea, kinda reminds me of an old sci-fi movie from the 50’s where they have these dish antennas on trucks that destabilize the flying saucers invading earth.
Either that or very loud recordings of country western yodeling.....
“This is hilarious. The asshole who desperately tries to track your every move on the Internet is concerned about your privacy?”
He is not concerned about your privacy. He wants PRIVATE drones regulated. He doesn’t seem to have a problem with the Govt. drones spying on you.
Google worried about privacy? LOL>
The first thing an Air Force does in enemy territory is take out all radio communication sources. And radars.
A civilian version would be cakewalk to zot out for any modern military.
We’re going to fly OUR drones into those FEMA camps, to see what’s going on there. We’re going to stalk the potential gun grabbers, too.
You won't be ratting us out to the regime, will you James?
“The influential head of Google, Eric Schmidt, has called for civilian drone technology to be regulated, warning about privacy and security concerns.”
I can’t believe I’m hearing this from Google... Privacy and security concerns?
I suppose Eric Schmidt might have no idea what his company makes, does, or sells.
There’s no need for that. Their eyes are all over here.
Mr. Schmidt and friends, along with the Washington 600 who control us, are fearful of new technologies that may empower us.
It's why anything that contributes to our independence (e.g., Internet, Bitcoins, Firearms, 3D Printers, Drones, Farming, Transportation, Small Business, Church, Families, ...), will be attacked as too dangerous to be allowed in the hands of individuals.
The whiney and covetous cowards among us will of course chime in with complete agreement and breathless demands for some action to be taken.
Doubtless similar circumstances led Ben Franklin in frustration to proclaim, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
That’s a great looking replica! The Ryan trainer, I always thought next to the F4U Corsair, one of the prettiest planes ever imagined.
Yep, Below 400' AGL and 3M from airports. As a pilot, I've lived with that for the last few decades with no problem.
I have a feeling goggle is afraid someone is going to figure out an open source way of tying all the drone video with GPS tags, and make it available on the net. That might step on their goggle earth product; or something similar.
I wouldn’t even be surprised if you have already been tagged for monitoring, both online and physically (it’s so easy to do, if you have used the Internet at all). I’m sure I am too, but I am in Australia, and have a place in the desert to bug out to.
What got me to fear the worst was when the government forced Blackberry to lower their encryption level to accommodate government computing resources’ ability to decrypt and oversee electronic communication. The government is now doing the same with Apple because their iMessage texting format is harder to decrypt than traditional texting formats.

Thanks! I have been in a bit of a quandary about it, bought it many many years ago, since then its become somewhat of a rare cult collectible and has been sought after by RC buyers to a degree, it was made by Byron which is no longer around.
I think its more like a 1/3 scale, at least 1/4 as it has something like a 7 foot wingspan, the fuselage is around 6’ long, very detailed fiberglass with all the panels and embossed rivets. Never finished mine, it had styrofoam wings with aluminum spars, they have some miracle supercoat fabrics now that realistically resemble the original doped fabric, the landing gear itself is full of detail with spring loaded struts.
Had a couple of engines at one time or another from a weedeater to a chainsaw motor, could swing a prop from 18 to to 24 inches. Its been sitting in my storage room the last ten years, maybe I’ll have to put it together to combat or harass drones, who knows.
In actuality I would just use cheap electric Rc aircraft to harass a drone. especially a google drone.
LOL! It’s certainly an awesome replica. The real life ones were hard on the head in a pitch over, on the ground, I understand.
