Those close to someone like this young man must be prepared to COMMIT them for their own safety, especially if suicidal. He would have found another way to commit suicide.

I’m hoping that all of my firearms are unregistered.

Sad about Rick Warrens son’s death, and people shouldn’t use this tragedy to attack him, but neither should he abuse it to push for a political goal (gun controll)!

Just sayin’..

Rick Warren is batting 1000 as a complete turkey!

The blame goes to the man that supposedly raised him Rick. He inherited your familiar spirit.

If he had hanged himself with a stolen (illegal) rope, would we be having this conversation? The gun didn’t kill him, he killed himself.

My dad committed suicide with a gun that he legally owned. That was almost 40 years ago. I have never blamed the gun and neither has my mother.

The gun did not make him suicidal.

He had access to ropes, knives, pills, high buildings, bridges, a garage with a car in it...

Rick Warren’s son kills himself so 100 million law abiding citizens should suffer the consequences.

Yup, makes sense to me/s

Somebody may have already pointed this out, I’m not going through all the comments to find out. If the weapon origonaly had a S/N and it was removed that person commited a crime. If he sold it he commited a crime. If a person buys a weapon with the S/N revoved they commit a crime. Everything about this transaction was a crime, the fact that it was done over the internet is irrelevant. His son and the person he purchased the weapon from both commited a felony offense.

This is a prime example of why gun regulation will not work.
