Instead of threatening, why don’t WE change the GOP?

Good God, we have people acting like they are helpless waifs with no input....and their only option is to “run away”?

No, the option is to get in and CHANGE the Republican party.

The Republicans in Congress, I assure you, are ON THE WHOLE more conservative NOW than they were 10 or 20 years ago.

We conservatives have made big gains in individual state legislatures...and these places are the training ground for federal offices.

Yes, there is a “GOP-E” that needs to brought to heel...but please, folks, let’s not abandon the ONE party still capable of being reformed. :)

The way things are going, while we see absolutely no push back, it will take a miracle, if they ever win another presidential election. To win, you must motivate people. Every day, more supporters are giving up that they will never see any reforms. The ruling class will not easily if at all, accept a reformer with big ideas and solutions; who would get in there to change things. That would take a conservative, like a Palin or Ted Cruz type.

Now, we see the party is evolving around gay rights (moving from the party's own platform that brought supporters in the party for many years). They are caving in on immigration enforcement, agreeing to have means for a national registry for gun owners, and of course their ties to Karl Rove are very obvious still today and there’s so much more. We work to get people in, then they vote against what promises they gave.

Yeah, they are really changing and we sure are advancing solid reforms. How's that hopey changey going? We have lost so much ground because of this modernized politically correct establishment who are beholding to others/special lobbyists and afraid to bust ideas with the corrupt media.

If you think they are about to change, when they are now discussing gun control, you are really hoping for a lot. It would take a huge backlash to change them though they lost with Romney and still are afraid to fight. How much more backlashes do they need for a shake up. The leftists are advancing as we lose more freedom. It’s clear that the major television networks are pushing a centralized form of government.

If they continue tomorrow and vote to change our constitutional rights, people will walk away and will not look back. Our Second Amendment right, immigration and traditional marriage is the most important issues for many of their supporters. They are very weak on all 3 issues. They increased taxes vs. fighting back. Repeal Obamacare/defund it/nope. Inspirational, where. They need to find it. Grassroots convention should start. They will not respect our calls, our voices. Imo.
