And the left has the nerve to claim conservatives have no heart. What hypocrites.

Thatcher dismantled the socialist control of the “Commanding Heights” of the British economy — forever. Sure, there are still socialist aspects, but she tore the whole structure down enough for free enterprise to be re-born in her nation.

Let them piss and gripe — who cares what leftist drama queens do.

“She specialises in “facilitating workshops for young, excluded and potentially criminalised individuals and uses drama techniques she has developed to explore resolution of conflict and oppression”, according to the company’s website.”

The UK needs more of this type of exemplary work to reduce crime and improve society in general.

Wonder if she's of the William Jefferson Blythe III strain?

From the folks that invented “reproductive justice” and “climate change”

The UK doesn’t need engineers or doctors anyway. Lets have more drama.

"disgusting, classless people. And I include you, Tony Benn!"

Tony Benn certainly hasn't joined in with this mob of degenerates: “Margaret Thatcher was a very powerful, rightwing force in society. She followed her beliefs and had clear objectives. Her policy was to reverse the trends in modern politics that were made possible by the trade unions being legalised. She decided to eradicate the power of the unions, undermine local government and privatise assets – and these were the three policies of the labour movement. It was a major attack on democracy and at first it carried some public support, but then it became unstuck, and in the end, it was rejected. But ideas always come back and the modern Tory party is influenced by her ideas. Although I thought she was wrong, she said what she meant and meant what she said. It was not about style with her; it was substance – I don’t think she listened to spin doctors, she just had a clear idea and followed it through. I remember her at the funeral of MP Eric Heffer. I was asked to make a speech and as I was waiting, there was someone behind me coughing. It was Mrs Thatcher, and at the end I thanked her for coming and she burst into tears. She had come out of respect for someone whose opinions she disagreed with.”

Although he obviously doesn't agree with her politics, he clearly demonstrates respect for her as a person, so it seems a bit strong to lump him in with the hateful mob celebrating her death. Lets be fair.

Certainly they appear to share a common trait of lack of decency and also a missing conscience.

I think that comment also illustrates Thatcher’s own fundamental decency in being able to respect and even like a person, even a socialist, with whom she disagreed with totally in a political sense. Its nice to know there are some on the left, like Benn, who are able to reciprocate this.

To tell the truth, while the yobs wearing “I Still Hate Thatcher” t-shirts make amusing copy, the Right won this fight, thoroughly and absolutely. All Ed Miliband could complain about this week his speech on Thatcher was her hostility to gay rights, and her support for Apartheid. The economic agenda of Thatcherism was fully adopted by Labour, and frankly copied across most of the continent, too. We won, they lost.

Well, I did point out to some that she was one of the MPs that voted to decriminalise homosexuality in 1967. As for Apartheid, I don’t see how dealing with them was even close to dealing with the likes of Saudi Arabia, which we do currently and is much more vile than apartheid South Africa ever was. In any case, I don’t recall her supporting it as much as she didn’t insist in moral impeccability when doing business with other nations.
