Here in Indiana, they play that Bloomberg funded commercial with the fake hunting guy - - constantly.

Every time I see it I want to puke.

If his own actions take him down the GOP will gladly welcome him back.

Are you crazy? The NY GOP might welcome him back, but I actually have my doubts about that anymore.

I guess you're not familiar with his history, especially with why he joined the GOP?

He’s either a fudge-packing male-model, or a “Fudd” who thinks all a hunter needs is a shotgun.

I believe a good portion of the voting public has been unaware of the basic premise of the Second Amendment—that an armed citizenry is a safeguard against tyranny. Even some of the talking heads seem to think the debate is about hunters and gun shows. Making “gun violence” the distraction of the month has rallied conservatives and prompted them to publicly explain how the “right to bear arms” protects the other nine inalienable rights.

Making “gun violence” the distraction of the month has rallied conservatives and prompted them to publicly explain how the “right to bear arms” protects the other nine inalienable rights.

It also looks like it boosted the NRA's membership by about a half of a million members.

"The NRA is the voice of over 4.5 million members and represents tens of millions of other gun owners who are concerned about preserving their Second Amendment rights. We have always been clear that any treaty which does not expressly exclude civilian firearms ownership from its scope will be met with the NRA’s greatest force of opposition,” said Chris W. Cox, executive director for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action.
