“Do conservatives have a white outreach?”

I find the idea of outreaching to any group defined on the basis of race discussing, but we must face political reality that democrats have spent decades campaigning to polarize people into voting on the color of their skin rather than the contents of their hearts.(Which would kill the leftist that run the democratic party)

“The GOP is not interested in conservatives”

If that were true we would not be trying to sell conservatism in any form to any population.

I think it sets a terrible precedent.

“I think it sets a terrible precedent.”

In my heart i feel your probably right. I can’t stand the idea of dividing people up by race, but the division has been made by the Democratic party to great effect.

Our ignoring that division has not helped us open any hearts or minds, after 30+ years of trying.

Yes, contrary to leftist propaganda we have been trying! We have been trying under the guise of our more generalized message. Hoping to appeal to theses people’s hearts as Americans regardless of their race.

I’m against identity politics, but if we’re going to play that game we should go after Hispanics and Asians. Unfortunately, it seems to me that Blacks are a lost cause.

I don’t think LLoyd Marcus had to be pandered to to become a conservative. Nor Ben Carson, Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, or any other conservative black person.

I was thinking the same thing EEGator.

“I don’t think LLoyd Marcus had to be pandered to to become a conservative. Nor Ben Carson, Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, or any other conservative black person.”

Of course not in every population there are individuals with courageous spirits who cannot be suppressed. In the African american population this is probably 5+% on the conservative side.

This is one of the main reasons I admire theses people so much because you know they are that courageous and morally convicted lot.

Agreed. They know the amount and depth of hate they will receive from many black people.

Its mostly that the strength of their convictions has enabled them to resist that pressure. Unlike many other so called “Conservatives”.

If we ever find outsells in the situation of appointing new Federal injustices we might find it easier to find Clarence Thomas types among the Conservative black population.

“Outreach”

Why do Conservatives use Democrat words?

We don’t do “outreach.”

We offer a set of political and personal principles.

If someone - any race, any gender, any religion - agrees with our principles, that person will be welcomed with open arms.

Then you will condemn the GOP to increased demographic irrelevance.

"Outreach" only means making sure that the message is truly heard by all. We don't need to change the policies, just the way we talk about them in some cases. And possibly the representatives we choose to spread the message.

We have decades of Dem messaging to counteract. We'll never get through that if we're not even willing to meet those people halfway.

The American public has been conditioned to think that the GOP only cares about rich old white guys, and that's hurting us with groups (like Asian-Americans) who agree with the polices but are turned off by what they see as exclusionary tendencies. If we can demonstrate to them that we don't give a $#!+ about the "white" and "guy" part of that, and want everyone to have the opportunity to be rich when they're old, then they might actually listen to our plans for the country. And when they do listen to what we have to say, I'm convinced we'll start winning them over.

If outreach is what's needed to start that conversation, what exactly is the harm in that again?

Conservatives will only be condemned to “demographic irrelevance” if we continue our politically insane immigration policies.

We have the highest rate of LEGAL immigration in the history of the world.

Almost all new immigrant citizens come from Third World countries.

Almost all new immigrant citizens have limited education and limited skills.

They voted Socialist in their native country.

They vote Socialist in their new country.

They do not dislike Conservatives.

They reject our political and personal principles.

By the way, Republicans are also the party of “young white men and women.”

Mitt Romney, one of the weakest candidates in my lifetime, received a majority of white votes in the 18-29 age bracket, including a 1% majority among white women.

You want successful “Outreach?”

Commit $10 million to persuade white Democrats and white Independents to vote Conservative.
