I looked into it some more. For example, there’s a small outfit already in Montana called Bitterroot Valley (BVAC) that makes their own ammo. They seem to be an offshoot of another outfit their called HSM. I see some good things about BVAC it and a few bad things.
Seems to me the hardest part of this whole deal is to make EVERY round perfect. Consistent muzzle velocities, and in particular, no double-loads and no dry loads, as these can destroy a gun and hurt people.
