>>When I asked what his postilion on putting restrictions the 1st Amercement was, they hung up.
That’s great. I’ve gotten in discussions with brain-dead libbies who bring up the ‘single-shpt musket’ 2nd amendment argument. I ask them if that means we should go back to street corner preaching and printing press for the 1st? They generally look like I just pulled the chain off their sprocket. “Uh ... uh ... uh”.
Murphy is a lapdog.
NRA should make a commercial where Americans of all races, religions, and ages read the Bill of Rights - #1 through #10. Like Letterman. Top 10 Reasons You Are Free. Read them backwards 10 - 9 - 8 etc.
A friend in the local area (within 10 miles of Sandy Hook) is an NRA life member and has received no such calls. He calls B.S. on Bloomie and Murphy.
And just for those FReepers outside Conn:
John McKinney (R): 28th district, Easton, Fairfield, Newtown, Weston (part), Westport (part)
Art Linares (R): 33rd district, Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook (part), Portland, Westbrook.
Please don’t tell me the NRA is stupid enough to piss everybody off with those obnoxious, ‘80s retro, “robo calls” that people instantly slam their phones down on !?! I would seriously rethink financially supporting any organization that would waste money in such a counter-productive way. What a freaking waste.
/facepalm
The source is now apparently the Huffington and Puffington Post.
Next time some other 2nd amendment origination will get my money.
Second Amendment Foundation (saf.org). Nine times out of ten, they are the ones that file a lawsuit and then NRA rides in on their coattails.
Other options are Gun Owners of America (GOA gunowners.org) and Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership (jpfo.org (goyim can join also, after all I *are* one)).
