Whole books have been written on that subject and the answer is yes. Read about the refugee ship St Louis. Read While Six Million Died. There was no place for most Jews to escape to which is why they were murdered in Europe.

but Roosevelt was too naive to see that, and viewed Churchill as an archaic imperialist and didn’t really take what he had to say seriously.Most in Churchill's own Conservative Party felt the same way about him. Especially his views on India.
