Rand Paul drops the ball - and any and all presidential hopes, assuming he had any.

What a dumb idea, you know. They are not going to vote for most republicans anyway. We have laws already. Follow those for each person. This intention of we are a world family is not what our sovereignty means. He is not a reformer. Most of them just want to do small things to get along and to be liked. Convictions are mostly seen by the housewife from Alaska. Where are the leaders. No wonder people are buying tickets for Mars...

“On Tuesday Sen. Rand Paul will urge conservatives to abandon their long standing opposition to a pathway to citizenship for the millions of undocumented workers in the United States”
Stick a fork in him. Why these fools prefer to serve foreign nationals who show contempt for our laws rather than send them packing is a mystery to me.

i will fight against this like i did against 2009 obamacare. it has to be opposed ferociously. remember if we force them to do it in the middle of the night, they will make mistakes, they will leave us future openings. it really is always the battle that counts. the ultimate result is in His hands.

Paul also will take on many of the talking points used by conservative opponents of comprehensive reform. For instance, Paul will outright dismiss claims that undocumented immigrants have become a drain on the nation's welfare system, saying "I've never met a new immigrant looking for a free lunch." We have a lot of them in Dalton, Georgia. When they register their children for school they seek free lunch and breakfast.

All the idiots on here who cheered Paul’s siding with Al Qaeda and CAIR are now finding their Golden Hero selling them out on amnesty.
This guy is to the LEFT of Obama! Thank God he will never be President!

will need to resign ourselves to permanent minority statusWhat this liberal kook fails to admit is if we make voting members of the ILLEGAL population in this country they will vote democRAT thus giving Republicans/conservatives "permanent minority status".
This man is as kooky as his dumbass father.

Rand Paul is utterly delusional if he thinks the GOP will win over the "illegal" criminal vote.
They come here mainly for...free stuff.

Rand Paul walked on water last week with the filibuster.
But now reality sinks in.
Rand Paul has already spoken about the need for social issue changes, now the amnesty issue.
He looks a lot like Jeb, Marco and the rest of the crowd including the RNC Poobah Reince Priebus now.

RE :”
Hispanics should be a natural and sizable part of the Republican base. That they have steadily drifted away from the GOP in each election says more about Republicans than it does Hispanics,” Paul will say, arguing that “Defense of the unborn and defense of traditional marriage are Republican issues that should resonate with Latinos, but have been obscured by the misperception that Republicans are hostile to immigrants.
Although Paul has long been supportive of comprehensive reform that includes some form of a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers, Tuesday's speech represents his most detailed comments on the topic. ” I find it interesting that Rand would cite ‘traditional marriage’ as an argument for amnesty because I am pretty sure he is supportive of same sex marriage, which is why he recently said congress should remove the Federal tax breaks for married couples.
Rand, you cant have it both ways. You cant have small government and give illegals the vote at the same time.
Same problem with Rubio.
Get this :
For instance, Paul will outright dismiss claims that undocumented immigrants have become a drain on the nation's welfare system, saying "I've never met a new immigrant looking for a free lunch."
No??? Millions of them line up for free breakfast, lunches and food stamps every day Rand!
