In the annals of Kafkaesque bureaucracy, this story would barely rate a mention.

No one is more cynical than me. Which makes me question everything I read.

But is it really Kafkaesque, or an Orwellian Catch-22?

I’m sorry to see you were not educated in the esteemed learning institutions of Southeast Arizona as was I.

You are probably right. I had a dispute with Dish Network and got nowhere until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Dish saw my side immediately and I prevailed.

This guy needed to talk to the comptroller of the currency. I had a run in with Wells Fargo a couple years ago and called the comptroller. Spent 2.5 hours on the phone explaining that I was going to sue the crap out of Wells Fargo. The Comptroller said they would have to call Wells Fargo and get their side of the story. 20 minutes later The comptroller called back and said we owed nothing. This was after several month’s of arguing with this incompetent bank. That idiot bank could not find any of the paper work we sent them or the payments we made. To bad for them we keep every piece of paper from them and a log book with operator names, operator numbers, dates, times and what was discussed. If you don’t keep this info with Wells Fargo you are just asking to be ripped off by them.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST BANK I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! Their incompetence makes the federal government look great.
