Not much of an improvement — And I was born and raised there.
But the colleges haven't -- Tompkins Cortland Community College, Ithaca College, and ... Cornell University (a Poison Ivy school). There's where your libtard problem is. From Wiki:
"These three colleges influence Ithaca's seasonal population. In 2010, the city's population was 30,014, and the metropolitan area had a population of 101,564."
A college song from the old days:
"Don't send my boy to Hahvahd," the dying mother said;
"Don't send my boy to Seer-Ah-Kyoose -- I'd rather see him dead! But send my boy to Princetahn, or bettah yet Kaw-nell! But as for Penn-syl-vane-eye-ay: I'd see him first in H___!" ... Ta H___ with the U. of P. -- P.U."
Should they have guns? Hmmmm. Not mixed with ale --
Ithaca is a Liberal college town. It’s no wonder they are crazy. They would be more at home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but there it is.
LIberals know the people that elect them cannot be trusted.
I thought this was about the Ithaca Shotgun Company supporting these laws! My mistake!
My Dad almost relocated us to Ithaca in the '60s so he could work at the gun factory - glad it didn't pan out even though it would have been his dream job due to his love of guns and shooting.
Just Joking!!!!!!!!!!
“Just Joking!!!!!!!!!!”
I know (grin)
Possibly of interest to an Ithaca double gun owner.

I saw a funny add on TV while attending the EIWA championships at Rutgers University. It claimed tha New York was open for business as it has lowered taxes. Too much!
Thanks for the ping.
