You have more faith in the left, Obama, and the feminization of the military than I do, and you are willing to pretend that females are equal to the real warriors and that they meet the same standards.
What combat leader would not want to replace his man warriors with a shorter, lighter, weaker, sicklier, less aggressive, slower moving, more terrain limited, reduced distance traveling, hygienically vulnerable, smaller weight carrying, more prone to injury, version.
He would have to rewrite all the knowledge and experience, of what his troops are capable of and reduce all that accordingly, and simply eliminate some capabilities entirely, but a fair enemy would not seek to capitalize on those advantages of course, would they?
In the meantime, I wonder if Americans have forgotten that if we lose in a major war, we disappear from the future, forever. It seems that many Americans are starting to see war as a sporting event, where you can win or lose, but it doesn’t really change anything.

When ‘they’ try to start the draft in 10 years BECAUSE our military will be full of Women, Queers and Nerds, the giving of High ‘Awards’ for not peeing in your rack will be running rampant.
The ‘virile’ young men, who used to chomp at the bit to ‘get away from the above’ will now stay away from the Military in droves.
Of course, I am assuming there will be a Military, if so it will probably be some 9-5 Organization that won’t fight at night.
Then the only alternate is to hire Mercenaries to ‘fight our battles’.
You people FOR these changes ought to read up on such fine outcomes of say ‘The Roman Empire’ when the citizens were deemed either to weak or to lazy to defend themselves.

To be fair(hate this word unless it is preceded by County or State), I would assume the surviving Vets from Spanish American War, WWI and WWII thought the same of us young lads that joined in the late 50’s....

I may have jumped to the wrong conclusion that your support of his nomination was with the thought of her enhancing military readiness and America’s ability to fight wars.
I personally don't think that Obama would have chosen her unless he thought that the choice was good for the left's agenda.
