The Republicans need to remind Hispanic voters that the reason Texas is one of the states that needs DOJ approval to change voting laws is because of the Democrats who ran the state in bygone days. All y’all know, guys like LBJ, Judge Black, et. al.

we all know SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare are unsustainable and even taking our 401ks wont fix it. Unless Obama declares himself king and takes all our assets, he is still playing with the destruction of the currency. We may not make it until 2016
I'm not so sure. It took the Soviet Union 70 years to collapse, and they had far less wealth to expropriate. Plus the US is truly "too big to fail". Almost all the major players on the planet have a vested interest in our NOT collapsing.
It could be a mighty long wait IMO.

It is really quite easy for the Rats, because they own the big cities, where all the parasite votes are. The domino effect is no longer communism in the Far East—it is on our home turf!

>>>Hispanics are NOT our enemy...Hispanics have been in this country since the beginning....
When Hispanics vote to be socialist by a score of 3:1....they ARE my enemy. When millions of them come here and choose to change MY culture for theirs...instead of being part of the melting pot...they are my enemy.
And "needing" Hispanic Candidates? BULL. We need conservative candidates...I could not care less about their race...but the notion that we need "Hispanic candidates" has been proven ABSOLUTELY false...especially since Cruz (my Senator and fav by far) did not get even close to a majority of the Hispanic vote. It was barely past the MOE.
Hispanics vote DEM by and large, just like blacks...and neither care what color the individual is...they jsut vote for the (D). Those who are on a path to citizenship are even MORE likely to do so...and their children make up a sizable % of Texas school kids.
So don't tell me who my enemy is until you understand the battlefield and have some SA. Ignore it at your own peril.

Makes sense, and Perry knew if he joined Romney in the broadbased illegal bashing (”they will all go home when they get hungry’) it would be a Dem tool to rile them up against him.

You could just realize that you made a mistake and acknowledge it rather than double down.
“”I do not think Texas will have as much success converting millions of newcomers as you say.””
How much success did I say they will have? What is the quote?
Rather than getting snarky, how about just explaining what you are talking about.

Hispanics have been in this country since the beginning.... How many were in the United states in 1790?

they are pushing towards total collapse and they will own it
Unfortunately, the whole country will own it, and the democrats won't care, since they will still have control of the government.
Notice how Spain and Greece beat us to the economic collapse, and now, the people there are still looking for the governments to come up with solutions, and it was government that created the problems.

If the GOP continues to support Illegal Alien Amnesty, continues to support NAFTA and North American Union, and keeps pushing NAFTA Superhighway...they will throw TX to the Dems
Dump the Open Borders and Free Trade Globalist nonsense.

The difference between Texas and California is simple. We will fight to keep what we have. The majority of Californians lost their fighting spirit long ago. Yes, I do see some danger on the horizon, but Texas will not go down without a fight and you can bet on that.

I agree and have tried for some time to point that out, California used to go back and forth from republican to democrat, but it was always libertarian and weak, it was never conservative, never hard core, never deeply Christian, with great pride and a strong patriotic identity.
Texas has all that, Texans are a very intense, deep, passionate people, they believe in themselves and in America, and in fighting for what is right, they won’t go down without a fight.

You said/wrote/implied this:
Two things will decide the future of Texas, controlling Texas education to teach Texas patriotism to Hispanics, and converting a sizable number of Hispanics to Protestant Christianity.
I replied/responded/rejoined
Unless there is a seachange in attitudes regarding multiculturalism & political correctness I do not think Texas will have as much success converting millions of newcomers as you say.
Pretty self explanatory.
And if you don't like snark don't be intentionally obtuse.

You quote me “Two things will decide the future of Texas, controlling Texas education to teach Texas patriotism to Hispanics, and converting a sizable number of Hispanics to Protestant Christianity.”
And then you claim that in that sentence is me predicting some percentage of converting millions of newcomers “I do not think Texas will have as much success converting millions of newcomers as you say.”
I don’t know what your post is about, or where you read that.

I always say these people screwed up their own country so badly they didn’t even want to live there anymore. So what they do? They break into our country and proceed in screwing up ours just as thouroughly as they screwed up their own. They are vermin.

No, I'm not responding to the wrong poster. You posted:
"Texas is strong in both those areas in a way that California never was, since it never was fundamentally conservative, nor Evangelical."
I am not as optimistic as you that that will be enough to save Texas from Democrat takeover.

"Hispanics are NOT our enemy...Hispanics have been in this country since the beginning...."
According to exit polls of the last presidential election, approximately 70% are. I'll really go out on a limb and say it is even higher among illegal aliens. What difference does it matter how long there have been Hispanics in this country?
"we need Hispanic candidates everywhere...it is what it is...gone are the days of voting in your favorite Italian or Pole just because they went to your church...."
We need conservative candidates everywhere. If they happen to be Hispanic, so be it. What the hell are you rambling about Italian and Poles in church?
"today's Hispanics are yesterdays Italians and Poles and Germans and Irish...."
Bullshite. Today's Hispanics and most everyone else coming here are coming for a handout, and in the case of the La Raza crowd, to take back what they claim as theirs'. They are little more than parasites and American hating vermin.
"entirely unhappy about illegals....but to lose our whole country because of that, when we can take lemons and make lemonade, its a no brainer.. "
To let a bunch of people who have no respect for our laws, customs, or history take over our country is to lose it. That is the no brainer.
