Just think of all the bureaucrats that would need to be employed for this ludicrous Department of Peace that would do what...organize the mass singing of kumbaya? furnishing balloons and butterflies for combat zones? ...pass out those ridiculous coexist bumper stickers? The nation is broke and I cannot imagine a bigger waste of money.

I’M missing the point???? I propose to take about half the federal government, put it into a department acronymned DOPE, and cut it’s funding 50% to take advantage of efficiencies wrung out through consolidation. And you take this at face value and as endorsement of the new department?
