Isn’t union scale tied to minimum wage. Is that phrase a so called dog whistle?
“Putting people to work on building bridges, etc”......
Obama wants ANY & ALL of these kinds of work to be done with UNION wages. That means that the cost will be doubled.
Doing the work with unskilled people who are unempllyed and don’t know how to construct a bridge will mean half the value of the labor & workmanship.
In the end, the taxpayers get a product worth less than 20% of what they paid for it.
I don’t want to drive across that bridge!!!

EVERY single union contract in America will also go up by whatever the minimum wage increases.
That is a standard clause in every single union contract written since about 1950.
