Oh, I know they are; I just wish people [‘conservatives’] could see that cutting “defense spending” isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
There’s a similar knee-jerk mindset about Israel — basically saying “if you cut off funds to Israel you’re anti-Israel” — despite that we simply don’t have money to be giving to ANYONE.
