and what is with that horizontal smoke plume and the little light flair at the end of the barrel? Most ammo these days are pretty much smokeless. Obviously a forgery.

Don’t photoshop the photoshop?

My theory...

In response to his skeet claim, a photo was staged.

It really is Barry....and it is a real shotgun with one port sealed for a right handed shooter to use.

Lack of recoil and excess smoke...blank round. We used these in a ceremonial cannon in the Boy Scouts.

Then it was shopprd in to a summer background....evrn though his clothes don’t match what he wore earlier on the alleged day.

You have to believe that Obama knows how he screwed up our country when he issues an executive order to extend POTUS protection by SS from 10years to life.

I think they want us to be focused on trying to prove some picture is faked, so we wont be focused on more important issues, like.. the death of ANOTHER SEAL.

The only problem is that there is no smoke coming from the ports on the left side of the gun, clearly seen in the photo suggesting that the smoke was doctored into the photo. Furthermore, the smoke exiting on the right side of the gun does not match the port pattern on the left. If this gun was being fired as suggested by the White House, then the smoke would be coming out the ports on the gun clearly seen in the picture and evenly on both sides.

That seems like a lot of smoke for a gun that uses smokeless powder. Maybe he's shooting black powder.

Go to the original photo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/whitehouse/8436110735/sizes/o/in/photostream/

Look at the end of the top barrel. See those slots facing the camera? Those slots should have smoke coming from them just like the smoke on the other side. At minimum, the smoke is fake. BTW, is this the smokiest ammo in the world or what? I DO shoot trap and cannot say that I have ever seen smoke like that from any shotgun. Maybe it is a wood burning shotgun?

I think they put out this photoshopped stuff that is good enough so that his base will buy it. But when it is scrutinized by us we will look like kooks for pointing out the obvious errors. “Just those crazy conspiracy-driven right-wingers again.”

This is what a shotgun really looks like when firing:

The most interesting part of the photograph is that it apparently shows President Obama shooting a gun which has a threaded barrel and either a muzzle brake or muzzle compensator, since the side ejected smoke indicates some kind of porting at the end of the barrel, and the type of choke shown is mounted by threads. But "a threaded barrel" is one of the characteristics of an "assault" weapon in Sen. Feinstein's bill, and "a muzzle break" or "a muzzle compensator" are characteristics of banned guns in the New York State law - complete with the incorrect spelling.

So the President is shooting a gun which has the very same features that supposedly turn ordinary semiautomatic rifles into "assault rifles." But logically speaking, wouldn't those same features have the same effect on any weapon, including the one he is using?

Yet another example of why there is no logical basis for the proposed legislation, just a desire by leftists to disarm America. Maybe somebody should ask the President why he needs a gun with a threaded barrel and a muzzle brake. Sen. Feinstein thinks nobody needs a gun with those features.

Overanalyzing a straightforward picture of a staged pic of an incompetent shooter.

I’ve been examining this pixel-by-pixel, and haven’t found too much to be concerned with.

There is a chance that he was set up to take a single picture after a few minutes of training here.

What I have noticed:

The watch isn’t his Jorg Gray watch that everyone seems to be fawning over. He wears that watch in the pool, playing golf, and just about every public appearance.

The smoke not coming from the other port is because he only fired one barrel. The top barrel is ported to the right, and the lower barrel ported to the left.

The wafting smoke can be reproduced, and I have seen other ported barrels producing similar wafts after the bullet leaves the barrel. The gun is kicked backward during the vent, leading a forward plume.

This is important: The gun is in motion (Motion blurred) but his arms are not. his arms are completely pixel-steady. His head is as well. His cheek is in a neutral position on the buttstock.

On his ring finger there is something “odd”, almost like an engagement ring worn before his wedding band.

I am analyzing skin tones today, looking for anomalies. I am also analyzing the veins in his head (His normal head veins appear in a shape of a “V” leading from his temples to his hairline.)

The top barrel of the gun appears to some sort of choke, or something. I can’t clearly make it out. Whatever it is, is not on the under barrel.

As far as the over/under barrel design, I’m not sure what gun we’re looking at here. It would appear that he has actuated the front trigger. In typical designs, this would trigger the lower barrel. I’m sure that’s nothing though, I’m no professional on every style of competition shotgun (That is a field that is frankly, daunting to research. It’s not like I can ever afford one of those beauties)

Next I am talking to skeet shooting professionals about the setting of the photo. If he is left handed, I would like to know where the targets are launched from, and if he would have treeline and pavement on his right, for a left-handed shooter. All of these points, however; are nit-picky and not at all capable of holding water in an argument.

The sad thing is that we have NO reason to believe that anything this moron does is real. His history is absolutely 100% falsehoods.

Photoshopped or not the photo is a staged phony to cover up the big lie...”I shoot skeet all the time”. There are so many technical flaws in the photo that it is undoubtedly a staged photo and not a photo of Obama shooting anything. It reminds me of the many staged photos of North Korea’s leaders carefully inspecting factories, military barracks etc.

If he held the gun like that,it would pop right out of his hands when shooting.

Noticed in the original, he is in sharp focus, but the grass right behind him is really blurred, in fact blurred just as much as the grass far away.
Odd in itself, like he was dropped into a picture with some distance to it.
