61 percent of Coloradans support a ban on “assault weapons?”

I’m calling BS.

And if the pollster calls them semi-automatic rifles, what would the percentage be?

“I’ve come to the conclusion that military style weapons really don’t have any place in our society,” Udall said.

One of the following is true: He thinks police and military should be stripped of these weapons, he thinks police and military are not part of our society, or he's lying through his teeth, and he actually does think they have a place in our society, for the benefit of people like him but not for us. One of the three. If it's the first, I'd like to hear him say this explicitly, and perhaps introduce some legislation. If it's the second, I'd like to know how he reconciles his belief with government "of the people, by the people, for the people." If the third, he can go to hell.
