Now THAT'S funny!
Hahaha! Kitty kicked his asset! Gewd kitteh!
Great point.
That hind leg disemboweling tactic is a favorite of toms in a death struggle.
Its mean, its ugly, and its REALLY effective. I’ve seen dogs lose intestines to it.
A toddler would be seriously injured in such a case.
Most folks have no idea to what we are referring.
There was something wrong with those white geese. I am not sure they were edible, or even really should be called geese, and as much as he tore up my legs and arms during that encounter I felt the trash bag was a good fate.
They were not at all like the ‘normal’ looking geese, except in the shape and size of their body. And there were only 3 of them, one male, the deceased, and 2 females that looked more like ducks than geese.
The ‘normal’ geese numbered almost 20 including the goslings. I actually have a video of me feeding the geese. The goslings were so used to me that they would eat out of my hand. They seemed very placid and almost tame, but the main male goose in that flock would never get closer than 15 feet or so from me. He was very wary, but never aggressive.
You don’t discipline cats by “punching them in the head.”
Please. Don’t ever get a cat. Nor any pet, for that matter.
Hey, shouldn’t you ping ArrogantBustard if you are gonna talk about him? :)
On farms, its well known that geese are more territorial than even dogs. They are much better at area protection than dogs, because they won’t run off in chase of a skunk or other critter. They are strictly area defense, and do it well.
There are so many different kinds of geese, its hard to tell what you encountered.
The ones with the big humps on their beaks are the most violent.
They will bark at the slightest indication of danger. They will back a coyote up with pure aggression.
What you ran into was nothing more than one of the most violent fowl on the planet.
And oh, hey, those really beautiful swans? Give those buggers space too. They are as violent as they are good looking.
LOL,
I should have. Thanks for the reminder!
Maybe you should read all the posts and see all the videos before you take a high handed position.
The cat wasn’t at fault. The boy wasn’t at fault. THE MOTHER WAS AT FAULT.
Have a good evening.
BTW, I rescue abused Dobermans from idiots. I have a bunch of them around the place.
Saving Dobermans is admirable of you, truly. And thanks, but I’ve read all the posts on the thread.
You say the cat wasn’t at fault, but in an earlier post you say he was the “bad guy.”
If you think it’s “high-handed” to call you out on claiming a cat deserves a punch to the head, well....I don’t know what to say to you.
Good night.
I had a 2lb game hen absolutely kick my ass one day as I was going in to change her water. Her clutch of eggs I’d been helping to keep clean and protect evidently started cheeping, because she jumped up 5ft at me and put a big bloody X on my arm.
And this was a pet chicken, as in came to be petted.
Obviously, you didn’t go to the utube video and see the cat trying to chew the boy’s feet off.
Yes, the CAT WAS THE BAD GUY. He bite the kid’s foot for NO REASON.
What would YOU do at his age if an animal was HURTING YOU? LAUGH?? Or FIGHT BACK???
But you miss the point ALTOGETHER. The worst offender was the MOTHER who thought the whole thing funny.
If you are five, and an animal is biting the hell out of your foot WHAT THE HELL WOULD YOU DO???
Well, YOU have never been in a position like that.
So, I don’t know what to say to you.
Live it, experience it, and see if you as so high handed after it.
Have a good night.
HeeHeeHee,
The barnyard is a hellovaplace! You get to rub shoulders with God’s best creations.
Animals are funny like that, they really get upset when a being that can eat them, tries to be friends with them.
Don’t feel bad, I’ve gotten my butt kicked by Banty hens on roost duty.
Really small birds, but tough as nails. Funny as hell too when they try to hatch a turkey or peacock egg.
=^)

Remove enough politicians, and the sheeple would be FORCED to wake up. No more Welfare, Section 7 housing, food stamps, Obamaphones, etc. . .
Good kitty! Hopefully that little brat learned a lesson.
