That's more like one in 10,000 women. Only Olympic caliber female athletes could handle Infantry or Armor duty.

You are right. What is the point of this just so that 2/10 of 1% will have an “opportunity” for combat. All at the expense of the morale and effectiveness of the units comprised of ready, willing and ABLE men.
