Too bad her husband didn't have a CCW and a sidearm with him. He might be alive today and this wretched woman would never have become a congresscritter.

Sybeck1~:” What kind of gun killed her husband? “

A Ruger P-89 , 9mm pistol , firing Winchester/Olin Black Talon rounds. Fired 30 rounds: 6 killed,19 wounded.
The Black Talon rounds are jacketed , hollow point with perforations to expand on contact with tissue.
The perp , Colin Feruson , was paranoid and delusional.
He opened fire on 12/07/93 on a Long Island RR , during rush hour, as the train started to enter the station.
He was temporarily subdued by other passenegers ,
and was shot by an off duty officer who was at the station waiting his wife who was on that train .

Interesting enough , knowing that we are in a letigious society , there is a court case :
(Mc Carthy vs. Strum,Ruger ,& Company ; 916 F. Supp. 366 (S.D.N.Y. 1996 ))
The court case was dismissed - no defective design

The fact that he was apprehended and then shot by an off-duty officer
signifies the need for an armed society.

From an expert : “ The average number of people shot in a mass shooting event when the shooter is stopped by law enforcement: 14.
The average number of people shot in a mass shooting event when the shooter is stopped by civilians: 2.5.
The reason is simple.
The armed civilians are there when it started.” ~ by Larry Correia

Because if you don’t have these guns and the large magazines on the shelves, those who have done these horrific killings wouldn’t be able to go into a gun store and just buy them.

Well, shitferbrains, the CT massacre was perpetrated by a madman who didn't buy anything - he stole his mother's guns (all legally acquired) and then killed her. It is kind of difficult to stop someone like that with mere laws. They're not going to say, "Damn, I was just going to murder a bunch of little school kids, but not only is there a sign saying that I can't enter the school with guns, but now the gun itself is illegal. Shucks, maybe they'll change the law so I can kill me some chillun next time the urge strikes me."

I will not comply. Unconstitutional laws are void ab initio, no matter how emotionally involved someone in favor of that law may be. IOW, FUCM!

Ancesthntr ~ don’t bother confusing her with the facts !
“The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.” ~Ronald Reagan

The common ground with all the mass shootings is that the perp is either on psychotrophic medications , or need to be.

This hypocrite is a champion of partial-birth infanticide. Her credibility is zip.
