All states need to copy that law
Look at a Maverick 88. I picked mine up for $140 about a year ago.
“well as ordinances which would punish anyone who cooperated with the FSL with punishment twice as harsh as the penalties of the federal law”
This is really the way to go. Just pass laws stating that local cops, fire departments, everything, can’t help the feds IN ANY WAY.
Federal courthouse burning down? “Judge, I guess you have to put it out yourself. Get your own water, too.”
The passive-aggressive solution would destroy the beast.
Whoa! Just googled it...Wally World! Will have to go get one...Thanks a whole bunch! What loads should I buy??? 00 and ??
We would be glad to have you here if you are of the conservative persuasion! No liberals allowed, to many in Austin to begin with.
If a “cop” comes to you door to get your weapons ask him “If obama signs an executive order outlawing Christianity, will you arrest the priest?”
God Bless Texas!
Who was it that made that wonderful bacon candy at the last get together???
hehehe
Also, this thread is something to paruse (spread the word)when you get a chance...;-)

“If a federal official comes into the state of Texas to enforce the federal executive order, that person is subject to criminal prosecution,” Toth told 1200 WOAI’s Joe Pags Tuesday. He says his bill would make attempting to enforce a federal gun ban in Texas punishable by a $50,000 fine and up to five years in prison.”
The only reservation I have about this is that there may develop some wiggle room that will allow some sort of oversight by the Feds, even if this bill becomes the law in the state of Texas...
Point being, that if the bill does not counter “every single iota” of E.O. from the president and congress, anything that is missed will allow those very same Feds to enforce “that” portion that the bill/law did not address specifically...
I did call my state rep Monday to recommend he get on and support this bill...At the time it was being reviewed by the party’s legislative committee...Hopefully it’ll be filed by the end of the week...
But I may make a call heree in a bit to caustion the risk in walking this bill through until we clearly know what is being foisted upon us...
At the end of the day, I have my concerns about this bill even being given the time of day in our legislative session this time...
We have a speaker who is less than optimal concerning serious issues like this coming from D.C., and he has a lot of support from political allies that are not of the cut I have any desire to consume...
I just feel like we need to have all our ducks in a row, and not allow ANY wiggle room for the Feds to get around our efforts in ANY way shape or form...
I think we need to wait and see what D.C. exactly has instore for us, before we ink this deal and put it through our state process...
Just my opinion...
