-Roll Tide-
FYI: During the Gulf war, Alabama was #2 behind Texas in number of troops serving there.
Metro Houston, Texas has a larger population than the whole state of Alabama
I’m surprised Texas isn’t since they have like a billion residents.
Texas is most likely all armed up already, pretty much like most of Idaho.
I could always use some more .40/10mm projos, though.
You still good on .40 brass?
Roll Tide, indeed.
(and for our friends at that other school, War Damn Eagle!)
Thanks, blam!
Mississippi #4 PING! :)
It’s not because of increased shootings.. It’s because of who the President is. Americans know what they know (As Al Gore would say. LOL).
That I am - still got that bucketfull and then some thanks to a mysterious benefactor. All I know is that one night, I put a spent .40 casing under my pillow and... voila! Brass abundance.
Now they’re all decapped, resized and tumbled to golden glow.
Time to blow the dust off the old Hornady progressive (the ONLY positive use of the word ‘progressive’).
Now if there were only a .45 ACP Brass Fairy.....
Sweet Home Alabama....
Side arms of all kinds are being bid up pretty sharply. Kind of considering a high-velocity compound crossbow, myself. Light, near-silent, and over a short range, as accurate as a small pistol.
Plus, if the spent ammunition is retrieved, it is almost immediately reusable.
1, unlicensed gun sellers = private citizens legally selling their private property to other citizens who want to use them for legal personal reasons
2, criminal gun sellers = criminals selling stolen guns to other criminals (most of whom are felons), who want to use them for criminal reasons
It is the first category, above, which is the "gun show loophole" gun grabbers are so heated to close. The last category will remain open no matter what the laws says. In fact, our DOJ has already facilitated the sale of thousands of guns in that last category. It is known as "Fast and Furious" and is responsible for the deaths of at least hundreds if not thousands of people on both sides of our border.
Even though I’m a Yankee I love that song and glad LS keeps the CSA flag.
I have been doing my best this week to advance Mississippi! ;-)

Did this "journalist" ever take math? Alabama had the highest spike on a percentage increase basis while Texas had the largest spike in terms of numbers of applications. Not sure why they focused so much on Alabama given the huge increase in Texas
It's from an Alabama newspaper.
Texas newspapers would put their own 'state spin' into the article.
AMEN BROS!
Actually, if NC goes wrong way on Obama Care exchange, my wife and I may move to Mobile Bay area, near Fairhope AL or that area....so yep, TURN IT UP indeed!
aol.com is controlled by the Alabama Media Group. They control the newspapers in Huntsville, Birmingham, and Mobile. In OCT 2012, they went to a 3-day week publication schedule. They are funneling folks to this web-site as part of their business model. As part of their cost-cutting measures, they have reduced the number of local/ state reporters. The editorial board in Birmingham has swung to the extreme far left in the last 3 years. They are carrying BHO's water big time on most every issue, especially gun control.
