Piers Morgan seems to be obsessed with asking the same question over and over again: "Why do Americans want to own Semi-automatics like the AR-15, and why is it a violation of the second amendment if ownership of such weapons are banned?"

A phone hacker that the Brits themselves DO NOT WANT.

Why are we employing their throw-aways?

More: His full name is like 3 words more to just Piers Morgan.

It’s a really, really long name that makes him sound like a child-molesting insect.

There are no “magazines” that carry 100 rounds or more

Actually, there is.

Surefire 100 round magazine

I do not own guns because I am free. I am free because I own guns.

Second Amendment protections were put into place so that citizens could shoot operatives of an oppressive government...not deer.

Piers Morgan has NO CLUE about American life and values...

Morgan is a "subject"...
Americans are citizens -- there is a difference!

Go back across the pond...
....arrogant English prick...

And don't let the screen door hit you in the bum on the way out!

perhaps we should collectively explain to him that we don’t want to end up like Great Britain.

I really liked that idea about his deporting himself.

I don't know about 100 round magazines but I sure have a ton of 30 rounders. My brother died suddenly several months ago and I inherited all of his guns and accessories. While I'll keep about 20, I need to dispose of about 50 in various conditions. Should I use Gun Brokers? I'm currently in Idaho. Or can I just go to the next gun show and sell them? What do you think? ($20 dollars?). I would say that most are in good but used condition.

And don’t forget the original Beta-C mags.
The dual-drum mags are unreliable, and that’s what Holmes used in Aurora. No wander his AR jammed. The US Army bought a ton of them for Afghanistan, and then ordered them destroyed when they failed to perform.

The failure of the Beta-C is what drove Surefire to build their 60 and 100rnd mags.

I think you will make more money on Gun Brokers.

People going to gun shows are looking for deals.

Americans are citizens -- there is a difference!

For the record, he isn't a subject - he's a British citizen. The argument you are using used to be true, but hasn't been for decades and should now be avoided because it opens up avenues to try and undermine the very valid points that are being made.

The term British Subject ceased to have legal meaning in the United Kingdom in 1982 - and Britons had been British citizens since 1949 (between 1949 and 1982, they were considered both subjects and citizens). There are a small number of British subjects left - basically refugees who were granted British subject status prior to 1949 and who don't fit into any other category, and some Irish born people born prior to 1949 who aren't entitled to Irish citizenship. They've been allowed to retain the status of British subjects, only because if they lost it, they would have nothing approaching citizenship status anywhere. No new people will gain that status and when the last of them dies, the status will cease to exist completely.

Back before the “Assault Weapons ban” expired in 2004, I was regularly seeing used 30-round mags going for between $30 - $45.

Before the latest hysteria, NEW magazines were around $15, including the MagPul polymer mags and aluminum mags. One company (C Products, IIRC) makes a stainless steel version.

Now, mag prices are apparently through the roof.
I’m in China so I’ll miss the next Indy 1500 gun show.
A gun show might give you the best chance to cash in on the hysteria.

Piers Morgan said: "I also understand, and respect, how there is an inherent national belief in America, based on their understanding of the 2nd Amendment, that everyone should be allowed to have a gun at home for the purposes of self-defence."

Has Piers Morgan communicated this thought to the tyrants who run Chicago? And I wonder if Morgan believes that this unalienable human right should extend to those living in Great Britain?

It may not seem so at times, but we are winning. Those who helped elect Obama may regret the fact that his ability to load the Supreme Court with liberals might undermine the progress represented by the Heller and McDonald decisions.

Piers Moron was drummed out of England, no one can stand him there and he is unemployable in the UK.

He-who-shall-not-be-named Of that Internet news radio show from Austin pretty much handed Piers’ hat to him today (or, bowler, I suppose). It sounded shrill, but at least the passion was out there plainly for the CNN New World Order to see in stark candor.

There are no “magazines” that carry 100 rounds or more. Most mags carry 30 or fewer. There are drums that carry such large quantities but Walmart doesn’t sell those either.

No so, SureFire makes 60 and 100 round 4 column magazines. The 100 is a bit awkward and impossible to fire from a prone position. The 60 is much better and not much longer than a 30 round 2 column. The 60s were going for $125.00 each though, so you really need to think before popping for a couple. Word is they are much more reliable then the "delta drums", and no Walmart does not stock them.
