Any Christmas song list without “Christmas at Kmart” by Root Boy Slim in the top 10 just can’t be taken seriously.
must just be me but I didn’t see anything resembling a ‘carol’ in the whole list.....
my favorite is and always has been O Come O Come Emmanuel
**holding hands over ears** Make it stop, please God, make it stop!
Christmas At The Jersey Lily Lounge by Moe Bandy, and Daddy’s Drinkin’ Up Our Christmas by Commander Cody are pretty good.
Nor is one without Merry Twistmas by the Marcels!
And where is Christmas Island by (cover) Leon Redbone?
From someone who once owned a store in a mall, the worst song ever recorded is “Holly Jolly Christmas.” Play it every ten minutes. Pure torture.
Excuse me, where is Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis, by Tom Waits.
shame...no “I’ll be home For Christmas”
they did a pretty good job of bumping Jesus off the list , cant get any more secular than that
my favorite is Oh holy night
you'd think Silent Night or Joy to the World would at least get a mention
The list was just top Christmas songs. They have another one for more traditional tunes.
They probably just missed it. ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ - Vince Vance & the Valiants
That was the first thing I noticed, too.
Maybe if they’d gone with Merry Christmas Baby as recorded by Charles Brown insteada Otis Redding, the song woulda placed higher than 98.
No Slade “Merry Christmas Everybody”

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Frank SinatraNo offense to the Chairman, but Judy Garland's is the definitive version, IMO.
