I’m shocked. SHOCKED!
Shocked that it took this long?
Obama supports banning every firearm designed since the mid-1800s.
They’ll stop those damn law-abiding gun owners from....law abiding!
THIS insect has ANYTHING to say about “Assault Weapons”? After F&F? REALLY?
That’s like being pulled over for drunk driving 100 times, and then complaining that people don’t take the problem seriously enough.
IT IS INSULTING.
To the far left fringe followers, if we just had a ban on any semi-automatic rifle with both a pistol grip and a bayonet lug, kids would be safe. To the far left’s leaders, bans on weapons are an essential step in seizing complete power.
It won’t affect us here in MA. We still have an “assault weapons” ban. Thanks to Mitt.
I wonder if these idiot congress people are willing to give up gun protection at their place of work.
By the time they are done with this thing ... a wad of paper in a straw as a pea shooter will be classified as an automatic weapon.
Are you still able to buy pre-bans? Apparently with the new one that’ll be stopped nationwide. No more transfers of mags over whatever magic # they decide on no matter when it was made. Grandfathered only to the current owner at time it is signed.
One has good reason to question her ability to serve in the Senate. She would readily support the Chinese assisting in the rounding up of weapons in the homeland ‘for our own good’ .. They’ve offered.. They could easily provide the millions necessary to accomplish such a feat. and it’s not like she isn’t used to working with them. She and her hubby has quite a history in that vein. Some run for the SEnate to serve their ‘constituents’, others use it as a place to do business from The Hilltop.
Nothing new in DC,, change,? hardly. DiChiFi, same tune, different millenium.
Yes. Pre 1994 30 round mags. But try to find them. Or try to afford them.
Plus...no collapsible stock. No how, no way. No flash suppressors. No how, no way. No bayonet mount. No how, no way. Pre-ban or not.
bill will fail.
The only upside is that maybe it’ll remind people of why they voted Republican after 9/11. The dems want to disarm you. Period.
People got lazy and forgot. They still want the dem freebies and don’t mind a bad economy if they can get by on welfare for the most part. However, MAYBE this will remind people of something they still give a damn about.
At the rate we’re going though, people are so lazy and stupid I don’t know if even an AWB attempt will jolt them back.
Any time a firearms-related thread is created on FreeRepublic, please be sure to add the "banglist" keyword to it so that interested FReepers don't miss it. Just a suggestion.
Let Freedom Ring,
For $200+paperwork get an NFA item with anything you want: short barrel, flash suppressor, collapsing stock, barrel shroud, anything.
Someone correct me please if I’m wrong. Now is this the same Diane Frankenstein if I recall 10.000 AK47s arrived at the port of Oakland, CA in a container. Now where was those guns going to? Drug Cartel to use against our Law Enforcement? Diane was very quite on that I wonder why?
It is unlikely to pass and it is not going to make much of a dent on any further shootings across the States, not that you need a gun to commit a massacre. The Senate is deadlocked and the House is Republican and the Supremes are unlikely to side with Senator Feinstein.
It is going to remain in the hands of each individual State’s legislature and unless I miss my guess the shooter’s home State already has some very strict gun laws.
Given the economy and given how people value human life, what the government wants is going to make no difference to your safety or the safety of your kids.Might seriously be a good idea to take kids out of Public school and keep them at home, where they are safe.
