What the hell is wrong with people? Idiocracy; here we come.
show = she
good grief, I am living in the movie idiotocracy.
Too bad the Three Stooges are dead. She could appoint one of them to the Senate. Or maybe all three, and they could rotate.
Confirmation that the Republic is over.
Sorry, Ben Franklin.
Mistakes were made.
Idiocracy has been in place for years. Now we’re at the point of its quality.
I call BS.
One of the great errors the GOP is making right now is their failure to take on these pop culture clowns like Colbert and Stewart. A few airplane crash jokes to his face might cut Colbert down a notch or two.
Silly poll. A quick look at the crosstabs show support for Colbert derives almost completely from those who support Obama over Romney. The conclusion would be that Colbert was considered the only non-Republican in the poll.
Is this a serious article?
Why the hell would a polling outfit even include a name like that?
RE: What the hell is wrong with people? Idiocracy; here we come.
There are MANY people in South Carolina who will vote for ANYONE but a Conservative.
In 2010, there was a man named Alvin Greene who for reasons I still cannot fathom, became the Democratic party nominee to ran against Jim DeMint.
Greene never held public office before and at the time of his candidacy, was unemployed and living with and caring for his father. He did serve in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force before receiving an involuntary honorable discharge in 2009.
On August 13, 2010, it was announced that he had been indicted on criminal charges of showing pornographic pictures to an 18-year old female college student
Greene never presented any coherent policy during the campaign and sounded redundant and incoherent when interviewed about why he wanted to defeat Jim DeMint. He kept repeating over and over again: “Jim DeMint started the recession.”
Anyway, Jim DeMint won the election of course. What surprised me however was this — DeMint won ONLY 63% of the vote. Greene won 28% of the vote ( which translates to over 400,000 votes right there!! ).
This tells me that AT LEAST 400,000 voters in South Carolina are part of your so called Idiocracy.

Well for one, Stephen Colbert IS a South Carolinian. He grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, on James Island, the youngest of 11 children in a Catholic family.
Another example of why I no longer put any credibility in any poll. No serious pollster would have even put Colbert into the mix. I guess they felt compelled to be “cool.”

Love him or hate him, Nate Silver of the NY Times has been SPOT ON in his predictions in the last 3 election cycles.
He was MORE ACCURATE than Rasmussen and Gallup.
It is 20% split between several names.
The headline seems to be trying to give the impression he leads in a head to head matchup.
