So how can our govt not be considered an enemy of Israel if we’re supplying weapons to terrorists which will one day be used against them? WTF kind of world are we living in???
Boy is Barak gonna catch hell from the Imams/Muslim world when they discover that a number of pork derived products are part and parcel of the manufacture and maintenance of modern combat hardware. From lubricants to paint additives to insulation..the list is QUITE large.
So essentially, Obama is sending/condemning literally millions of jihadis to muslim hell, forever devoid of contact with the grace of Allah..
And since all this info is freely available and has been for some time on the web via material data sheets for the majority of this stuff, the Imams can’t wave a magic goat and erase the fact that use of American military hardware is extremely haram.
The CIA could not have planned it better.
Have fun boys! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!
Aside from the “WHY” of granting a production license in the first place, nothing much new with Egyptians producing Abrams. Contracts were originally let in 1987-1988.
“Egyptian brains are no match at all for Israeli brains”...maybe so but I’ll put my money on Israeli leadership and individual WILL. Egyptians may especially lack the former but not brains. Nor individual courage.
There’s a great deal of depth to Cherokee1’s observation about Egyptian capabilities. Their Abrams may look like the real deal but they amount to a new ‘Vette with a Blue Flame Six. Their F-16’s may be a bit better though. But no matter the export system, it’s all in the option list...the bells and whistles. Israel’s home-brew version, F-16I, just might give our’s a run for the roses. Same with their F-15I...the Ra’am.
