great article, too many good quotes to copy...
and remember, as a first century carpenter, Lord Jesus was prolly packing some hand/upper body strength in his human body...put a whip in those hands, and a Righteous fire in those eyes, and i bet the temple cleared out pretty quickly indeed...
lastly, Luke 22:36 was the one verse that finally peaked my curiosity for more, realizing that Christ wasnt just some meek, turn the other cheek guy, but in reality is awaiting the time to crush His enemies...

Sorry, I missed the “not” in your last sentence.No problem - I make the same mistake all the time. I believe we are in agreement that it is OK under Christianity to defend ourselves from harm and that we can only offer the Word to others - we can't shove it down their throats. God Bless.
