Dingy Harry and Nazi Pelosi extend surrender terms. GOP accepts. McAuliffe "Nuts" monument, General Anthony Clement McAuliffe (July 2, 1898 - August 11, 1975) was the United States Army general who commanded the defending 101st Airborne troops during the Battle of Bastogne, Belgium, during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. He is famous for his single-word reply to a German surrender ultimatum: "Nuts!" "Nuts!" FR

Harry Reid is constitutionally incapable of mending any fences, his agenda is to create scorched earth wherever he has direct dealings with Republicans and especially conservative Republicans.

Leaving the region of potential compromise sown with radioactivity is an effective way to never have to build, tear down, or repair any fence. And since he has to answer to nobody except the Democrat majority in the Senate, he is not likely to ever listen to constructive criticism.

Neat little suzerainty he has built up for himself. Harry is no Darth Vader, but he certainly is Senator Palpatine, and has mastered the Dark Side.

Just why would anyone work with this anti-American dimwit criminal. The only things that should “reach across the aisle” are warrants and handcuffs.

Garbage from start to finish. Reid is a criminal psychopath who will never work with the gop, unless you define it as gop surrender. If McConnell and Boehner think otherwise they will be dreaming.

But sources who know the Democratic leader, a former amateur boxer, say it’s a classic case of Reid being Reid. He punches hard during the campaign but is willing to pivot to constructive bipartisan relationships after Election Day, just as fighter is willing to embrace his opponent after the final bell.

OH BS...thats a pantload.

If the Republicans were smart, they would nominate Mitt Romney for Speaker of the House.

For all that is good in the World, this stupid love fest over Romney must stop. He is a loser!!!! He lost the easiest election we have had in history. HE IS A LOSER PEOPLE! Stop making him sound like Ronald Reagan.....heck he isn’t even Gerald Ford For Goodness sake. You guys need to wipe your mouths and knock it off. This is getting disgusting!!!!!!!!

“Sen. Reid knows as well as anyone there’s a time for politics and a time for governing,” . . .

I suppose this would explain why he hasn't produced a budget in two years.

eff him.

Reid won't do a thing. He's a chronic liar.

Here is a link to a brief summary of Harry Reid reneging on deals with Senators.

Nasty little weasel. He can’t live forever.

I've found it works best to hold their head under until the bubbles stop coming up...

PS Of course I'm talking about drowning weasels, I know for fact that it works on bigger rats too.

Very classless response on your part. It’s not about a lovefest, comparisons to Reagan or Ford and the other classless thing you said.

The point was about bringing a pro-business, pro-producer perspective to the House with competence and pointing out the differences between Romney’s priorities and Reid’s and Obama’s. You may recall Reid’s statements the week before the election that he would not work with Romney. We all know of Obama’s failures, socialist passion and inability to lead. I wouldn’t want to reward reprobates like Reid and Obama. I think Romney would be a better Speaker than Boehner. I also would love to see Paul Ryan as Speaker. I hope we can discuss these points in a civil way.

I just have always hated Romney from day one. Everyone knew he was a flaming liberal from Massachusetts, but they wanted him anyway. How dumb can people be. So we got stuck with him and he was a disaster like I knew he would be. He lost the election in an embarrassing way. Sure we can blame fraud if it makes us feel better, but people thought he was a goof which they were correct. Now that he lost the election, people are STILL praising him....that is what is so horrid with people. We will NEVER get a conservative if people still highly praise the liberal weasel. If we can't convince you that we need a conservative, then we are doomed!

First and foremost, Sen. Reid cares about governing.

First and foremost, Harry Reid cares about Harry Reid.
