Stearns, the Democrat, had been in Congress for 24 years. He is gone.
Not all is lost, folks.
Yes, the Allen West thing is frustrating. Yes, I believe there was voter fraud in Philadelphia. Probably Detroit too.
Let's not give up.

Being a large animal veterinarian, Dr. Yoho is more in touch with reality and current events than would be a touchy feely small animal exclusive practice. He sees the economic conditions being affected by the ignorant politicians that haven't a clue about business on a daily basis. The economy affects veterinarians more so than any of the healthcare professions.

Yet, the GOP elites pooh-pooh anything the “unsophisticated” Sarah Palin does. Sarah IS sophisticated, in a down to earth sort of way; and certainly more of an example of sophistication and moral authority than the rabble rouser, Sandra Fluke (who coveted crowds the size of those Sarah draws).

Stearns was a Republican, and pretty conservative too.
ACU’s endoresement:
Cliff Stearns is the clear conservative choice in Floridas Third District. His ACU lifetime congressional rating of 95 over 23 years of service reflects an outstanding and consistent commitment to conservative principles over a wide range of issues and is one of the highest in the Congress over that period of time.
Yoho’s a great addition though. Check out his wonderful campaign ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkVG1StqOzQ

What is Sarah Palins winning percentage for candidates she endorsed? A lot of new candidates owe Sarah Palin a lot of thanks. However, I do not believe the GOPe will allow her to win any republican nomination.
I would not put Mr. Romney as someone she endorsed. She said she would vote for him.

Could you clarify whether nor not Mr. Stearns was a Republican or Democrat? There seems to be some confusion on the thread.

Bonehead and Cantor won’t like this.

I do not believe the GOPe will allow her to win any republican nomination. You'd bet your ass they wouldn't. That is why the GOP is dying a very painful death right now. Hospice has been called in, we just don't know how long they have.
Then us and Sarah will build a New Conservative Party from the void the GOP has left.
Romney as someone she endorsed. She said she would vote for him.
Correct! Sarah knew that he she want all in, say like back in May, with the OmG!!@!! VoTE 4 romNEY!!!! cheerleader brigade, she knew that A. If he won, her credibility to stand up to his RINO way of governing would be shot.
B. If he lost than she had gone all in for a losing, GOP-E endorsed candidate.
So the only winning move, was not to play the Dem's or GOP's stupid game. Which is what Sarah did. She knows what she is doing.

Sounds like good news.
I waited to let a few others respond to this thread with sensible replies, before asking a question I just can’t resist.
Does Dr. Yoho dress up as Santa Claus at Christmas?

Stearns was a Democrat. 12 term.
To: TWhiteBear
correction, sorry, Stearns was a Republican. :(
My apologies to all. I mis-read the story....
To: SoFloFreeper
Happy to hear this. i was starting to wonder if we had picked up any seats. All I keep reading is this Republican has been ousted by his/her Democrat challenger.

Stearns was my congress critter and was good. The point being, Stearns had been there too long. He was in the teaparty congress, standing up tall with Michelle Bachmann and the rest from the start.

Stearns was a Republican. He was in my district and would come to town every so often and have little Town Meetings. A lot of older people and Vets would attend with a sprinkling of young people.

Stearns was a good republican/tea party congress critter, I should know,my district.
