It’s only 8pm and I’m yawning. I still have dinner dishes. LOL
Jim, your post 97 to me makes me chuckle—in a good way.
That’s the spirit that protects freedom. Not the Weeper’s and the GOP-e’s method of caving in.
As for your suggestion about Gingrich, becoming Speaker, it is constitutionally sound. Nowhere does the Constitution state that the Speaker has to be from the House, or even a member of Congress.
As for the RINOs and bluebloods—once again they have drawn the wrong conclusions from the massive defeat just handed to them.
From Freeper IMissPresidentReagan’s homepage, this quote from Ronald Reagan in 1964 should be widely disseminated:
“We don’t intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals of our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all.” — Ronald Reagan commenting “moderate” Republicans who didn’t support Goldwater in 1964
I’d say the Gipper was very prescient—he described just where we need to be today.
And if the GOP does not want to play ball, we will let them go the way of the Whigs and form a new party dedicated to our founding principles, and let the chips fall where they may. After all, what do we have to lose? We are not going to be the red-headed stepchildren of the GOP anymore.
March for Justice 2—the time is coming upon us.
You did yard work. I’m sick of listening to his football games. I’ll be tired rather early tonight, unless he knocks that off PDQ.
Excerpts From Ronald Reagans 1975 Speech To CPAC
I don t know about you, but I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, We must broaden the base of our partywhen what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.
It was a feeling that there was not a sufficient difference now between the parties that kept a majority of the voters away from the polls. When have we ever advocated a closed-door policy? Who has ever been barred from participating?
Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?
Let us show that we stand for fiscal integrity and sound money and above all for an end to deficit spending, with ultimate retirement of the national debt.
I went out and did more yard work. The tree split and grabbed the chainsaw. Had to get the 2nd one and free the first. As we freed the first one, the 2nd one threw it's chain. lol
Great quote by the Gipper!! Thanks again!!
Excellent!!!
I hate when that happens. Had two stuck at once one time. Way too old for that stuff now. That’s what children are for :)
It is time for a massive march on DC again and this time we need to also drag the media with us. Even if we go to the DC Media headquarters where they will have no choice but to cover the event and not hide it. Like they did on 09-12-2009.
Thank you!
Two stuck at once sounds like a circus. :-P
To your post 207: Hear! Hear!
It is nauseating to hear the Bill Kristols, Peggy Noonans, Karl Roves come out of the woodwork to list our supposed sins and gives us predetermined, contrived and wholly incorrect solutions.
THEY are the reason we lost in 2008 and 2012,not us.
And they will lose in 2016 if they don’t listen.
Which they won’t, in my opinion. So let’s get going on a new party where the TEA Party is at home, not abused.
It was like a circus and I was not the only one there. LOL!
or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors
Darn straight!
