Yes. Briefly.

“I can imagine what Ms Roselius looks like.”

These seem to be her photos here. Also, what seems to be her motto: “Where there’s smoke, there’s a fine.”

I can imagine exactly what Ms Roselius looks like.

Heh. Janet Reno? Janet Napolitano? I'm pretty sure she looks like a Janet.

http://blogs.pjstar.com/eye/2012/08/15/wildfires-ravage-california-and-washington/

MANTON, Calif. — A huge wildfire sparked by lightning in Northern California burned to the edge of three small towns Monday, threatening thousands of homes as fearful residents sought safety miles away at an emergency shelter.

“All we can do is pray,” evacuee Jerry Nottingham told reporters.

The fast-moving Ponderosa Fire was one of many burning across the West, where lightning, dry temperatures and gusting winds have brought an early start to fire season.

Nearly 1,900 firefighters were battling the Ponderosa Fire in rugged, densely forested terrain as it threatened 3,500 homes in the towns of Manton, Shingletown and Viola, about 170 miles north of Sacramento.

Yes, this thread reminded me to go throw a starter log in the chiminea on the deck. We’re having people over and grilling out a little later.

< *heads for the deck*>

As the California economy continues to crash, I am sure more and more peons are having to resort to wood fires to keep from freezing. That could be a real effect on the air quality from a visual standpoint. However isn’t is offset by all the factories shutting down?

Besides, what harm is wood smoke compared to vehicle and factory smoke? Frankly, I like the smell of wood smoke, and have never actually heard people who work for a living complain about it.

I wonder when Californians will have enough guts to say no to this BS.

Just like the line they love to feed us on illegal immigration “You cant deport them all” well if enough Californians got fed up enough to not play along with these games, they cant arrest them all.

Way back when we put a pellet stove in and burn it exclusively for heat. It puts out literally no smoke. It is still against the rules but screw em.
