JMO,the kidnapping plot is the only thing that explains all the things that went down. The withdrawal of security just prior, the refusal to rescue, and the convenient “video” that nobody had ever heard of before the administration brought it up. The failure of the scheme could have been caused by the attempt to aid the Ambassador by the men who were told to “stand down”.
Yes, where was Petraeus? He was soon giving Congress briefings that included suggestions about that “video”.
So, what are the odds the Mooze Lames will do exactly the same sort of things in several places at the same time prior to election day?

A question for anyone who might know the answer. My assumption is these transanction are either done in cash or some type of wire. If cash, who holds the money?
It was a fubar. They should admit to that and not lay blame on the victims because the victims did not attack themselves. They should not have lied over and over again about it. After the contractors disobeyed orders and successfully evacuated the consulate personnel minus the ambassador, the folks watching this go down should have done whatever they could to save them. But they didn’t. And now two more are dead and who knows how many are still recovering from this terrorist attack.
It is the cover up that is the problem. And that we have a cinc who calls this a “bump in the road” and “not optimal.”
THIS is the point of PC. To condition ALL to follow orders. It was NEVER about —insert PC topic—, rather it was to condition the minds of our forces by demanding they mouth bullshit, salute bullshit and support bullshit. General Petraeus also made a public comment about Jones planning to bury a quuran back in 2010 saying it would endanger our troops. It was unusual back then, just like now with Dempsey. Dempsey was just mimicing what Petraeus had already done, even if he didn’t call Jones personally.
But while all of that military staging would have happened/did happen during the 6-8 hour battle at the consulate and annex, what the military cannot do on their own say-so is cross an international border without an order from the NCA, the National Command Authority, and that means POTUS, Obama.Obama knew all this. He did not want to be blamed for giving the order to GO. He did not want to be blamed for giving the order "STAND DOWN". He did not want to accept responsibility for giving any order.Only POTUS can authorize a cross-border hostile mission. That is, guns clear, no official permission from the Tripoli govt (if it really exists outside State Dept fantasies.)
Only one man can pull that trigger and say, “GO!” Obama.

But no order came, as of midnight in DC. And then none would come. Because the POTUS retired for the night with a “do not disturb” sign on his door, punted, and went to bed, to be well rested for Las Vegas.
So he ran away, and by deliberate inaction, killed our men in Libya.

After the first few cash transactions, they would realize that there must be tens of millions of dollars in the consulate building. Good enough excuse to rob the place, and grab Stevens for ransom in the process.
