Colin Bowell is not stupid like the average liberal, not stupid but avaricious.. He’s a republican to tweek white racial guilt for gain.. At least Zero is not a cross dresser like Bowell is..
The military is a conservative group so he acted conservative for gain, but he is out of the closet now.. Bowell is a nasty piece of work..

They were making a big f'n deal (a little Joey Biden lingo) about this all day today. Why? I would have been shocked if the Colin DIDN'T endorse the Kenyan.

None of us liked McCain politically on this site, but we all respected his service and his experience in government (I think saying that is a safe bet).
So when the choice was a “community organizer” versus McCain, Powell went with the “community organizer”.

Powell said he endorsed obama in 2008 BECAUSE he’s black. They also have other things in common. They’re both black and they both benefited from affirmative action.

Yea, exactly. I remember how he used to keep his political speeches under lock and key when he was toying with running. The only candidate that I have ever heard of doing that stunt. He knows if he was a Democrat, he would be simply written off as another angry black. But claiming to be Republican, while not lifting a finger to help Republicans, only means he’s exploiting the term “Republican” to help the Democrats achieve power.

Sununu is probably wrong. If the choice was between Col Allen West and some white liberal, he’d go for the white liberal.

Did Powell do such a great job in Gulf War I? First, I believe Stormin’ Norman was the general who ran that operation.
Second, I always was struck by Powell’s behavior at the end of that war. According to Powell, when Shwarzkopf (sp) had destroyed the Republican Guard on the Highway of Death, Colin Powell picked up a phone, handed it to G HW Bush and said “ Your objectives have been met, stop the killing”.
I always wondered, was Powell a wise statesman, a general who loved his troops? Or was he a bleeding heart who wanted to be known for ending the war? I’m not sure but I thought it was odd behavior.
I was hoping that Powell would have seen the truth by now. I can understand his first endorsement and being caught up in the frenzy, but there is no excuse for this second endorsement. Makes one wonder about his common sense and ability to think things through.
Obvious Sununu was being sarcastic.
Did Powell endorse Clinton, Gore or Kerry? If not, he is a RACIST, case closed.

I think we can safely say that Powell was faking being a republican to advance his career. I can’t see a “Road to Damascus” event in Powell’s life that would explain his political conversion.
What Sununu said is less controversial than the Media continuing to define Powell as a Republican when he is clearly not.
Sununu had to throw that in or he would have been accused of making a racist comment. He has been an awesome and fearless advocate for Romney. He flat out told Bill Richardson to shut up on hannity last night.
