I’m going to cut a few of the 4.23% undecideds some slack. When I was a new mother and terribly sleep deprived, I couldn’t make up my mind about the ballot initiatives. Heck, I could hardly finish a sentence. Some people just have a lot on their plate.
I can clearly understand the initiatives and lesser candidates, but for the highest elected position on the planet?
or, if you prefer,
THIS IS SPARTA!!!
another candidate 2.30% Undecided 4.23%
yeah lol!!! too funny!
McLame ran out of money and pulled out of MI quite early.
Detroit skews everything - its a dying city but still makes the difference in presidential elections.
This poll is a tease - it always looks intriguing and then at the end the D pulls away to win comfortably.
I’m sure what the optimism is about MI... it hasn’t gone R since 1988.
Very nice looking electoral map. I agree it is wishful thinking, but who knows?
That was because McCain quit the state and announced it to the world. He would have lost anyway that year, but not as bad.
Poll Ping.
As a born and bred West Michigander, I want so bad to BELIEVE this!!
Lest you think Michigan is all blue, back in the biggest election blowout in history, in 1964, Johnson beat Goldwater 60%-40% nationally, but in Ottawa County it was 60-40 Goldwater. And politically, the place hasn’t changed much.
It would be kind of funny if the Dems stole Ohio, but then lost Pennsylvania and Michigan!
If the dems lose Michigan, they’ll lose Ohio too.
That’s a 3% participation rate. Most pollsters are currently running at about 9% for a live poll, so an automated poll at 3% doesn’t seem too terribly out of wack.
It’s there: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/mi/michigan_romney_vs_obama-1811.html
I think Michigan will go red this year. I have been talking to anyone I run into and can’t find anyone who is voting for Obama, have seen only 2 Obama stickers. Some Romney but this is a strange year. Not much in the way of signs in general. Today the cable guys came out to redo our line and the 2 of them when they were done asked me if I would give them good marks on a customer service survey I would get a call on. I said I’ll take the survey if they would take mine and then asked who they were voting for. Both Romney, and very fervent against Obama, one guy said his father was a tea party organizer. The other said he was more of a libertarian. Have not run into anyone who is wishy washy about this one.
I think your signs are very effective.
Yep, because he'll be having a stroke.
It’s winnable, but it’s tricky. You have to get the Bobo voters to sit on their hands, and Western Michigan has to come out like never before.
