Nice to see two of my favs on the same thread.
Hey, E.
What’s going on?
At this moment, we are getting a backlash from some huricane making its way up the Atlanic.
I love it.
If it were not for these rains, Central America and parts of South America would be another Sahara.
We get 9 months of rain a year with 3 months of dry season (Jan through Mar). I dread those 3 months of dry season. The grass turns brown and everything is too warm. I can’t stand it.
Everything is going swimmingly here.
Panama City is under a tremendous transformation...new roads and an underground subway system not to mention the widening of the Canal and more.
Colon City, on the Atlantic side, Panama Juan’s birth place, has been rioting for a few days. The political opposition is trying to make trouble for President Martineli, who has been a good president; and they have all their dumb cannon fodder out front getting hurt and killed.
Martineli is not worried about it. He flew to Japan. Good for him
Sure, who needs that old navy anyway?
200 should be plenty.
For one destroyer, thousands could get food stamps.
That would be great and everyone would enjoy it.
The next one is coming up in June I believe.
Hello,M!
Love the travelogue—I get to learn more about Panama that way.
Keep praying for us here—that we give Obama his walking papers two weeks from tonight!
