I don’t think that would get implemented in Baltimore County without a huge fight and it would be a very public fight.
That’s why I’m surprised. Not hearing about that until after implementation. Maybe because the county is not self governing with a County Exec but governed by Annapolis.
You nailed it.
Amidst all this haggling about whether it’s really a privacy issue, not 1 mention of:
“what business is it of them who buys what food?”
After all, look how Mooshelle is berating us all about food, schools are trying to (waste) force vegetables on kids, and Bloomberg is banning various foods.
Wouldn’t it be nice if they knew just what we were buying so we could be taxed/fined/jailed for it?
Yep.
Imagined being scanned at the register and then scanned again at the trash can to determine whether you ate your veggies.
I think that is exactly where its going.
That's just what this system is. "It identifies unique palm and vein patterns, and converts the image into an encrypted numeric algorithm". Your vein pattern IS TURNED INTO a number by which you are identified and approved for buying.
An alternate is an iris scan (close enough to your forehead), or maybe an EEG scan for your unique brainwaves.
A tatoo on the inside of the fore arm would be cheaper.
Is this fightening or what?
What is the name of this judge. His/her identity needs to be made known so he/she can be voted out.
They should be scanning the food to find out what Big Ag and Food Inc are putting in it!
my intel didn’t go that deep, but I’m working on getting the name
