This study was done in Sweden and the glaucoma was actually caused by 2 factors, not coffee:

1. The angle of the northern sun does not let light come straight into the eye-

This causes the sunlight to always be entering the eye thru the edge of the eye lens, not the middle.

2. Men in Sweden are always looking at Swedish blondes.

This yellow light causes the eye to be shifted toward the middle of the spectrum but since the light enters the edge of the lens, this causes the eyeball to twist and shout "Glaucoma!"
