They won't say why, but it's partly because of leftists, motivated by size envy, have forced more Americans into smaller cars.
‘Suicides are terribly under-counted,’
I often wonder what the real story is when I read an obit in the local paper like this...
“John Doe, age 40, died at his home this week...”
Beautiful scenery ruined by a crappy suicide story.
***There’s only one rational solution: Outlaw Suicide! /sarc ***
Reminds me of a line in the movie A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM with ZERO MOSTEL.
A young man tries to commit suicide and is warned by Zero...”It’s against the law in ROME to commit suicide! The penalty is death!”
I wonder how many fatal single car accidents are actually suicides?
Like this illustration of a young man 130 years ago in the POLICE GAZETTE?
And Obama couldn’t care less.
Wow it took 25 comments before someone didn’t treat this as a joke. Both my Mother and my Uncle commited suicide but neither was recorded as such, so yes I think suicides are underreported.
Right—and this guy is trying to use increases there to overstate his case re: suicide.
I am so sorry for your loss. I truly believe if the numbers were reported correctly, and there are said to be around 33,000 suicides a year, that something would be done besides making jokes.
If you think the suicide rate is high now, just wait until after the election.
[not joking]
That is what makes it so funny.
This is really a shame and a scandal. And I think it’s grossly underreported. If I recall correctly, the suicide rate in the military is now higher than the battle death rate.
