I didn't think it possible, in the mood I'm in tonight, to laugh but you succeeded in making me LOL at that one.
When I moved to Raleigh, NC in the late-70s, there were a lot of Arab students at NC State. Up until then, I hadn't had any first-hand dealings with them. I wasn't a student but those people were everywhere I seemed to go.
Since 9/11 and the Catholic Charities bringing them over by the thousands, they seem to be anywhere and everywhere. Even in the small podunk-nowhere town we live in, we have them.
One of the things I'll never forgive Pres. Bush for. This began under his watch, when they should have been tossing them OUT of the country instead.
This TN hillbilly's opinion any-hoo.
[stepped away for awhile . . ]
Agree with what you said.
I’ve been ‘tuned in’ to the Islamic threat since 9-12-01. Started buying books.
Then came the re-election year of Bush/Cheney - 2004.
Where I participated in street corner rallies for months back then. While others held Bush-Cheney signs, and signs like ‘Veterans for Bush,’ I was holding large hand-made (by me) signs that said:
NO SHARIA LAW IN THE U.S. (Ironic, huh)?
and
DEFEAT ISLAMIC JIHAD
Passersby did not know what that (the signs) all meant, for the most part. Hope they remember those signs in later years - now.
Only the early morning of election day did one car passenger roll down the window and say ‘That (my sign) could get someone killed.’ I replied ‘My side or yours?’ as the car took off when the light turned green. Well, those were the words that sprang forth.
He did look ME - - -
This is in So. CA.
That was the ONLY confrontation I experienced back then (except for the occasional ‘bird’) - expected more.
But these days are more ugly, and there’s no street corner rallies organized yet, so don’t really know.
I still have all those signs.
Well good - you chuckled!
Wasn’t aware ‘we’ (Bush) were letting them in by the boat/plane-load until some years ago.
Wow - and Cath. Charities. Will have to ask my RC friends.
Guess we were feeling sorry (hah!) and were hoping to prevent any backlash.
And GWB was off to such a good start right after 9-11. . .
As a TN hillbilly, got any Scottish background? My dad came from Scotland, went to Manhattan with parents.
Since my dealings with Saudi students in Raleigh, I’ve had bad feelings about them. They didn’t hide their disdain for America and more than once I told them if they didn’t like us, they should go home and stop taking advantage of our schools and such.
Little did I dream, though, that an attack like 9/11 would ever happen.
I did a LOT more studying up after 9/11 so I’d know what the heck we were dealing with. Needless to say, I’ve liked nothing I’ve found out. And there’s no room for their way of thinking in this country.
Cool that you still have those signs. You may need to dust them off for use again pretty soon.
This one is where he first mentions Catholic Charities.
Everyone wondered if the Somalis were even here legally to begin with. I think it was more of a shock to learn the gov't. was paying these organizations to bring them here.
And now the 'Boro has a monstrous mosque that the locals didn't want, and who knows how many muzzies will move to the area?
Exactly - the muzzies based here try to spearate themselves from their real heroes because they don't want a taste of their own religion...
If he did then who around here would believe him?
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Oh these Tennessee boys won’t let me be
Allah have mercy on me
Woe woe is me
Poor poor poor me
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor poor me
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor poor me
Poor poor pitiful me
If you have been watching the way muslims opperate for some time you know that they need to provoke people. They are not happy living in peace with anyone. I think the next childish prank that they will pull will be, as you say, to do the call to prayer, just to aggravate the Christian community. Then they act all wide eyed and innocent as if they meant no harm by it and of course the corrupt politicians and lefties will side with them. I think they do not understand something about Americans and that is—we like to fight. LOL
Don’t forget lots of pork barbeque during the Ramadan fast and don’t forget to use those ultra powerful fans to blow the smell over to the fasting muslims. Hey, you can do what you want on your own property.
You know, anyone who lives close to the mosque should put up a hidden camera to catch whatever is going on there such as large boxes (weapons) being unloaded. The FBI just might be interested. See something, say something.
Wow! Eleven years since 9/11 and he still doesn’t know anything about Islam. What is he waiting for? He just wants to remain blissfully ignorant.
Hey, this has just been going on for 1,400 years!
Guess who’s been embolding them? None other than Bill Clinton, Grover Norquist, George W. Bush and Obama. Useful idiots from both sides of the aisle.
They certainly know where the Bible Belt is. The Democrats are bringing them into the country deliberately and probably strategically placing them in the communities that they want to turn from Republican to Democrat. This is global redistricting.
George W. Bush....fight them over there...bring them over here.
Now that the liberals lost one of theirs, do you think that the reality might just begin to dawn on them. Hillary and Obama looked pretty grim at the services. Didn’t the Obama administration appoint this ambassador to Libya? Of course the Arab Spring was their big utopian dream for the Middle East.
Sharia is creeping in. The Janissaries monitor us as we FREEP.
Yup, good point.
Anyone living close to a mosque should burn it down.
