I understand why some Freepers, stressing their opposition to Obama, advocate voting for Romney and then, on the day after the election, beginning to work to build a third party or to purge the RINOs from the Republican Party.

Unfortunately, if we keep voting for RINOs then the GOP-e will keep nominating them. The third party is here now.

If nothing else, Goode's presence on the ballot will help keep Romney honest. There's a limit to how much he can shake the Etch-a-Sketch when there's a conservative running against him.

so a vote splitter in favor of obama makes the ticket.

He has ZERO chance of doing anything but helping obama and it is VERY suspect that of all the states to get onto the ballot is where the rules were adjusted to favor less worthy.

There is no substantive third party effort just an effort to remake the existing party. With more people self identifying as republican we now have a real opportunity.

Goode is just a joke and the useful idiots are the punchline.

Voting for the Republican Houses doesn’t mean one is supporting the GOP-e or abortion. If Republicans win the White House, it’s a shared victory, not one owned by the GOP.

We don’t win the battles of reform at this level, it’s done at the grass roots which is inevitably responsible for feeding the GOP-e machine and the Liberal candidates it promotes.

I understand the contempt for Romney, but Life and Liberty have better odds with three Republican Houses than two.

If you were to vote for POTUS (R), Romney would be hitching a ride on your choice for a Republican White House.

The third party is here now.

There is always third party's. They aren't going to be any more successful this year than any other. The Constitution Party will get some tiny fraction of the vote and be a insignificant footnote in history like all the others. The most it can do is take a point or two away from Romney in VA. For those here that are actively rooting against Romney (and for Obama), I guess that's something.

Abortion, Gay Marriage Top DNC Agenda

Romney or Obama will be the next President. Spending all your time trash talking Romney does one thing, help reelect Obama.

You can lie to yourself about your supposed moral superiority but God knows better. You will not be able to claim now you were not warned.

forget the excuses or the rationale....why don't you keep obammey "honest" in stead of always trying to thwart a mildly conservative candidate..

did it work in Minn?...no because the idiots gave the constitution party just too many votes, not enough to win, but enough to get AL diaper baby Freakin in the Senate....

you people are losing the sight of the forest for the trees....

This Virgil Goode a-hole has ZERO chance of becoming president. He is doing this purely out of spite for the VA GOP. It amazes me how people can't see through this BS.

If you people hate Romney that much, why not just stay home and not give the pr*ck the satisfaction of your vote.

Goode’s presence on the ballot is an attack on America, most likely funded by Democrats.

Anyone who votes for a third party candidate, knowing that the candidate cannot win, is working to destroy this country, not Mitt Romney, this country.
