I wonder why Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, chairman of the Republican Platform Committee decided to put his neck into the noose.
I guess that it will be two Republicans on the shows today I missed Newt Gingrich along with Bob McDonnell.
Like I said before, how does this strike the average Joe?
Say someone who doesn’t care about politics too much.
Someone who sees all the businesses that have closed in his town as he drives through it. Someone who is hanging on to his job by working longer, harder, and for little more than keeping that job. Someone who pulls up to the gas station and see another 20 cents tacked on to the price per gallon from the last time he filled his tank. Someone with a kid fresh out of college and that kid is living back home because he can’t find a job. Someone who hears from his cousin the roustabout down in Louisiana, who can’t get work because the government won’t let his company drill in the Gulf. Someone who hears that unless they allow queers to marry, the democrats will close down Chik-Fil-A, the place with the best chicken sandwiches in the world.
All this stuff is being seen, experienced, felt by millions of ordinary Americans. And it’s real... It’s real to them and part of their lives as much as a aragula salad and Pelosi Plantation Chardonnay is to DC socialite. In fact it is more real, more viseral, more a factor to consider because it’s ready to bite you, hard.
So that average Joe turns on the TV and hears Obama say “You didn’t build that” and “The private sector is doing just fine.” He sees Axelrod say that “Oh no, Obama has HELPED the economy; adding millions of new jobs, you know, the recession’s been over since 2009, we’ve had all these months of recovery...” What does Joe think then?
That he’s being lied to, maybe? That Obama and Axelrod are full of it? That more of the same “help” is going to ruin us all?
Got to love those dummies.

We tax work, and the harder you work, the more we take.
If a man is so rich that he doesn’t need a job, how can you tax his income, we he doesn’t have any? You could pay Bill Gates a dollar a year, and he would not miss a meal because of it.
Pro-abortion in Massachusetts. Suppose he didn't believe it but had to triangulate to win the Gov's job. Slimey, but typical politician.
Romneycare. Legal. Once endorsed by such groups as the Heritage Foundation, based on the idea of asking everyone to contribute, eliminating the free riders. Good intentions. We now know it doesn't work even on the state level, and on a federal bureaucracy level would be a nightmare.
Immigration. I don't recall, but believe he wants to build a fence, and then go from there to redo the work visa policies, etc.
Oh don't be so 20th Century. Law! Pshah! Why, you only need an order... An executive order. Oh, that, and a Supreme Court declared "tax".

The “Big Lie” approach is a big part of Team Obama’s modus operandi.
They are quite brazen at spouting blatantly false things and challenging the compliant press to dare to quibble.

While you are correct that by then then is not a lot we could do about it,rinos extermination is in our plans. Many of us have adopted a two stage plan of attack.
1. Take out the commies. Elect as close to a conservative as we can.
2. Continue the war on rinos. Light a fire under their ass ever time they screw up no matter who it is. Let them know the first part of the war is over.
By way of letting many know just how effective we(conservatives) are and will be, remember we are looking at a VP Ryan instead of Portman,huge difference there.We are just getting started.
Just came back from the movie 2016 it was really great! First part a bit lame but the last hour will confirm everything we already know as 95% of the movie did. Dinesh shows how zero's up-bringing,environment male influences from FMD,to professors in college, minister wright, ayers the usual suspects we already know created what we know as Barry.It is what and who he is.
Denesh left out a lot of bad stuff on obamba and much that we know. Probably not a bad idea,since what he showed may well have been new info to a lot of people I am guessing. Full of great stuff that we go over all the time but still extremely worthwhile viewing. My guess is that between Denesh,Marco, Clint and Mitt we have won the election barring any huge fiascos or obama driven drama. At the end in our showing big applause by the 30-50 in attendance a big audience for the Upper Keys. After the applause lots of folks saying you better vote Romney,I smiled,felt good.

Good catch son.Actually, IMHO, it’s all in the hands of the American voters at this point. We already know that after the rat convention all the rat nets will give glowing accolades/accounts of just how great the Dear Leader was and isn’t Bubba just a trip,wasn’t moochhell beautiful etc etc. etec etc.So bearing that in mind we are dependent on the wisdom of voters.HOpefully, they may just have had enough hopey change and are over their white guilt.
I guess you lost count as to how many times you voted for a democrat, only to get screwed... Well, honestly, in all the confusion, so did I... So who ya vote for now? Do ya feel lucky, punk? Still go with the People's Messiah who said he'll heal the planet? Or try somethin' new, and vote for the guy who will ONLY work to help you and your family? You know, jobs and such... Well?
