Yep, Axelface was on for the first 15 minutes on FNS. Not sure why all the guests have changed from the listings.

I think the fact that they are having to fill a 73,000 seat staduim to prove that O has a following is a symbol to the hype. The tweet about the chair shows how they are so empty in ideas and it’s all show now.

That is one thing that is hopeful about Romney. His team is showing themselves politcally savvy. Being the first to LA and making 0 follow them was brilliant.
We can hope he takes that same savvy to the White House. He would be the first politically nimble GOP President since Reagan.
I would score Romney down only for botching the Chick-Fil-a thing. There are millions of evangelical votes there (I happen to be one) and you have to react better than he did when freedom of religion and speech is on the line.

MTP talking about Clint at the convention. His appearance really has rattled them. Otherwise we wouldn’t be hearing so much about him.

mentions the Contract With America, welfare reform, etc., etc. "

(some of) them now..old/tired GOP RNC/e types.
new revitalized (leadership) blood is needed badly.
(my dear) Sen. McConnell and S.o.H. Boehner

Absolutely brilliant post!
You capsulized (is that a word?) the strength of Romney better than any pundit I have heard on TV.
Thanks for the kind words, maica. I’ve been seeing your posts on here for years and you ain’t no slouch either.

No -- she is vying for a position in the Romney administration.
Newt makes a great point about the Dems supporting the horriffic partial birth abortion procedure that they are uncomfortable even acknowledging and braindead Carly has to jump in there to save them with the Romney rhetoric about women not being one issue voters.
Most of the Dem panel just sat there stupified as Carly did their work for them.
Ohhh but while women are not one issue voters Carly sure is a one issue blabber -- telling the panel that the GOPe were right in calling for the resignation of Todd Akin for his stand on one issue -- the one issue that she disagrees with him on.
Am I the only one who caught that???

Evidently Clinton won’t tell the Obama campaign what the content of his speech will be at the convention. They keep calling and asking, which is making him madder & madder. Clinton does ads, makes statements, etc. ‘for’ Obama, but when you really look at what he’s saying or more often, what the downstream effect is, it does not help Obama. It is very subtle sabotage .... no love lost between Bill & Barack. :-)

Clinton...is not anywhere as beloved as the media thinks...He was a disgrace and a skirt chasing hick... The rapist Clinton was a one-man "War on Women". He totally made a mockery of workplace "sexual harassment".

MTP; Newt fails to endorse Eastwood's bit. Downplayed it, calling it mostly irrelevant. Old Media and some of us still don't get it. Fiorina appears to be one of them. Brokaw insists it will be SNL fodder all season.
Brokaw claims Ryan overreached (lied)on the Janesville plant closing...gets away with it.

The plouffer trying to explain why we don't want to return to those who drove the bus into the ditch. Sounds like the same ol' BS over and over and over. These guys don't even know what trickle down means much less how it works. If only we can steal from the rich and give to the poor everything will be all right. Unbelievable.
Fruitless to try and spout logic to brainwashed morons.

I was truly disappointed by Newt’s response to Clint. Clint said more about The One in a few words than all those on our side have said over the last almost four years.

Me too. It should also be pointed out that Clinton vetoed Welfare Reform before
finally agreeing to it.
